"Earth Casts its Shadow
The Moon does not have any light of it's own – it shines because its surface reflects sunlight. During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon and cuts off the Moon's light supply. When this happens, the surface of the Moon takes on a reddish glow instead of going completely dark.

That the moon will happen to be in the sign of Aries ruled by fiery red Mars may make this a double bloody moon!

glad to hear that.

the lunar ecclipse has already started to cast its "shadow". I was not feeling the solar ecclipse as strongly, but the electricity NOW is rather intense.
Along with the intense slightly mysterious dreams I have had for the last 2 nights.

Plus my boss picked exactly THAT time to send me the evaluation/ report on my job-performance.

Funny enough he was visiting lessons of mine just a few weeks after the april ecclipse; and a good portion of the report is based on those visits (and the following months of observing me I suppose. lol)

the report is important for my application for being a permanent-civil-servant instead of being "only" employed.
The road to that was just opened last year, after my weightloss, and the medical exam that was giving their okay to it (I was only not being made a permanent-civil-servant some years before, because of my overweight).
But of course there came some year of approbation with it, and the report is needed now for the approval of making this permanent for me (will make a difference moneywise and in terms of job-security).

Other than that there will be profound changes in my family, not obvious at first, ut things will have to be taken care of in advance (my parents are not going to become any younger, and someone has to take on the responsibility for my mentally handicapped brother, when they are not able to do so anymore - you wanna guess WHO that will be? which goes without saying, but probably some documents have to be signed, so I can take over being official guardian for him, when they can`t do it anymore)

Other than that I feel other changes are due too, but cannot put my finger on them.

my IC is on 5 Aries
my MC on 5 Libra
Pluto on 9 Libra
and some asteroids are on my IC as well (Gaea, Aura, Chariklo, Alma etc.)

I feel ya on this! Usually in a very good and jolly mood but today I was mad at the stupidity of people and therefor I had to closely look at myself, examining. Very bad mood. I will definitely take much time out to examen how I feel.

I separated from my husband, and a new relationship crept into my life (I wasn't looking/trying, he just showed up).

There is change going on at my company (we were acquired by a bigger company) and I am worried about layoffs, but more hopeful for promotions/expansion and opportunity to shine.

I recently lost one small source of income to be replaced, hopefully by more career opportunity.

My husband still lives here and he is moving things around, but not out. He needs to find a new place. I am hoping this eclipse will be what cuts our ties and he can move forward in his life, somewhere else (not here and not with me).

Change is in the air, I just can't sense if it's good, bad, or both for me. ???

The moon will be transiting my 8th house during the eclipse.

Interesting. I had some contact from people yesterday who were just so mad at ME because of the traffic block in the Hague which meant I had to move my workshop over to Delft. This one woman called me and just kept repeating angrily "this is so inconvenient for me!".

I was like... yes, for everyone... if you would like to skip the workshop and get a refund - no problem! I'll just send you your money back!

But she just kept going ON - like she wanted a fight out of this - so I finally just said that I had to go.

I also feel this energy of things being quite tense. My indications (not astrological ones) were that this eclipse is all about letting go and opening new doors or clinging on and repeating another cycle of tension around the same issues - and we all get to choose.

I'm teaching a meditation workshop today and doing a full moon ceremony at the end of it - will be quite cool to see what energy/intentions people bring to that.
Hey Sylven - wanna come?!! :-D It's in Delft, 7 min walk from the Delft train station.

I was so mad at society, things, people who don't give a **** , thinking about themselves, not taking notice of anyone else. They threw over my bike and left it there, it was blocked, could't drive so had to fix it right there. I sort of cursed and people probably thought that I am this crazy insane violent person. It was just like I have had it. Let's all just don't be stuck in a rut. Always when I go to city centre I feel this rigid energy and I can't stand it!! I want to break it!!
Yesterday I also knew of course this reaction is all me. I am never really upset only. Always use humour too but I had to feel this energy. It was as if I was in tune with this rage. Feeling it completely and then releasing it. So again, I felt the deep need to CHANGE it all, change the world when in fact it is ME who has to CHANGE and transmute. So hurray for this eclipse! I am looking forward howling at the moon tonight! I am def going to set the clock.

My husband and I were talking about this the other day - about how it can feel that so many people are self-obsessed, thinking only of themselves, not making the effort to be polite and kind anymore.

He said he thinks it's because even though we are quite "rich" in the western world compared to other places, many people are in survival mode. It's getting harder and harder to pay the bills, find your joy, be stable in the basic needs of life. And as a result - people get more and more focused on themselves only.

I thought that was an interesting observation. And for people who are very empathic and considerate of others - this can be a brutal experience.

maybe it's not about changing yourself...because your anger and frustration are real, and allowed... maybe it's just about understanding that the bigger picture is that as a collective we're all going through a big shift right now - and many people are scared, confused and feeling like they have to survive. That makes you more of an observer and less of a reactor.
