Hi all! I have an upcoming transit of Pluto to the 2nd house. Nothing but financial doom and gloom on the interwebs. My 2nd house is Aquarius. However, I know one person who has this natal placement and he's wealthy; just sold his start up; has always worked in finance. (His natal pluto is in Libra, just wrapped a Jupiter transit to the 8th house.) What have your experiences been with a Pluto transit to an Aquarian 2nd house? Anything I should pay attention to, expect or prepare for? IP: Logged |

I've had it sitting in my 2cd (in cappy) for years and it isn't going anywhere any time soon. Not too bad, really. Financial highs and lows. I've always had just what I need. The hardest time I ever had, with money, is when Saturn transited my eighth house. I think it also depends on how this transit will hit the rest of your chart. Work hard and save and you should be okay. IP: Logged |

I had it for my 30's and part of my 40's. Financial ups and downs, but generally improvment for most of it. The opposition to Sun and conjunct POF were rough times though.

Thank you Ann7. That's very helpful. Were there any particular transits you recall being better/worse than others?IP: Logged |

Yikes Gemini Blues. Conj POF does sound rough. Thank you for sharing. Good to know what to look out for. What happened during the Sun opposition - if you don't mind me asking? IP: Logged |

Glad you posed this Q.... Though its a few years away, I too have it coming once it's in Aquarius...
Thinking it'll be very rough; I will have a few squares and an opposition. Smh.

The transit through the 2 degrees from my POF to the opposition point roughly correspond to an extended period of unemployment. The entire transit however cover a pretty successful period in my career. IP: Logged |

Hmm.. I personally have this in my natal. Personally, at its best, I think one of the best things it can do is show you that money is a tool, not a goal. Of course, in saying that, money is important to have.. But.. I think Pluto in the 2nd can help someone see the impermanence in physical posessions, therefore helping them to not latch onto them as if they have any true lasting significance. Believe me.. There may be losses. But really, they will be there to show you that you can't hold onto materials for forever.. Nor is there a reason to. Unless they are vital.. Such as food/water/shelter.
This can even manifest as a detachment to the 'self'.. The realization of what you value could change.. And, in saying such, may help you to be more open to taking into consideration different perspectives. Realizing that even opinions/thoughts/beliefs and even the self are all impermanent.. Therefore allowing you to not attach so strongly to them, and helping you to grow in ways you may have otherwise been relunctant to before. IP: Logged |

Have it in natal. I don't like to own too many things. I like to work for money but it doesn't make me happy. It does make me happy to get rid of it. I am not scared of having nothing.IP: Logged |

Pluto conjucted my second cusp Feb 25, 2020. I have a 2nd house Aquarius with Jupiter at 11 degrees. I had started investing in the stock markets and Crypto starting April 2020( The start of the Pandemic) had an excellent run in the market, lets say it was a windfall beyond imagination. From March 2021, the market corrected itself a little bit, I decided to book my profits and get out. I had enough money to pay back my leverage and still was left with some handsome gains. I was still happy. Then I decided to get into what we call day trading which means you don't care which direction the market goes, but you take shots based on some fundamentals that the market will go in a particular direction that day. I did see gains on that too, sometime on good days making around $15K on a single day of trading, but what I didn't realize is the optimism was so high and the memories of good profitable days was so deeply entrenched in my mind that I started taking huge risks. Fast forward 2022, I have blown my account and also the capital. Now since all my proits where made in 2020/2021. I still am going to pay huge taxes (atleast $70K) on profits that I made according to my country's tax rules. So that is a double bummer. This is the +ve side of Pluto cusp (gains) and the negative side of the transit ?( losses) on the cusp. Pluto destroys and rebuilds is what they says, but here I see it has uprooted everything that I have made to an extent that I fear further losses. I am nit sure when will the rebuilding ever occur again. There was also one transit called Jupiter sextiles Uranus that was happening at the same time. This started in Feb 2020 and ended at March 2022. Uranus is transiting my 5th house currently in Taurus and sextiles my Jupiter in 2nd house. I still cant believe it how it was all taken away. It is extremely demotivating and depressing to say the least. IP: Logged |

It's been in my 2nd house for forever. I have second house starting in Sag, ending in Aqua. We moved cross country, twice. We both went through graduate level schooling. We divorced. One child has graduated high school and gone to college. The other will be soon. I bought my own house. All a ton of expenses. I have had steady employment, but finances are tough. It has not been as wild a swing as others may have experienced, but it's rough for me.Some days I feel it more than others. In that time Saturn also went through my second, so that was exasperating the lessons. It also trined my Venus and Mars early on. Towards the end it conjunct my Moon and opposed my Sun and Jupiter. Rough.Needless to say, I am ready for it to go. IP: Logged |

I have a 2nd aquarius, so saturn is still going through my second house and will be there till March 2023. I do have worries about my finances. All what I am looking for is financial freedom , but the stars have still not approved it, maybe there will be some easing up after saturn leaves my second house and pluto will be left alone in there.
