Can those of you with a very great understanding of astrology briefly explain how each sign behaves in each planet? For example: How does Aries behave when it is in the rising, sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars. I mainly care about the personal planets but you can go into the outer planets if you like. IP: Logged |

That's actually a huge undertaking. I've been working on it for a while. I've done it haphazardly as things come up...but then I started to do it systematically, by looking at many different videos clips of people with Aries Mercury. Just when I started getting into this, I thought the pattern was pretty obvious, and then I realized that the astrologer at cafeastrology is more accurate than I had given her credit for. My own observations match hers. So at this point I trust her quite a bit, though I intend to continue with my tedious video studies, because seeing is believing. Still, you might find it helpful to go over her readings (or any good astrologers' readings) for the different planets in each sign. http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/mooninsigns.html http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/mercuryinsigns.html http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/venusinsigns.html http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/marsinsigns.html

When it comes to the 2 main angles (ASC and MC) the energies are pure and unfiltered and the other 2 (DSC and IC) are the backbones for them both. You will never get as close to seeing the total essence of a sign than by seeing their angle positions. Same goes for houses...As for the planets, the energy of that sign is filtered according to what that planet represents. So one only has to see what a sign is, and observe how a particular planet changes and adapts that sign to its own qualities. The 5 personal planets represent our personal influences. The 2 social planets (Jupiter and Saturn) represent how we deal with our environmental influences and surroundings. And the generational planets represents what we are here to bring to the table for these times. This is important because your HOUSE positioning shows where this will be and how it will take place. For starters, it helps to understand that signs cannot be 'in' planets. A sign is a larger field/container for the planet. Planets move through/against the backdrop of a sign, therefore are in a sign . This is not just grammar or syntax, but goes directly to what is happening in the sky and is important visualization for you to understand any of this. Each planet maintains its principle essence no matter what sign it is in. A sign is a general mode of expression. So any planet in a fire sign will vibrate through a fiery mode of expression. Venus is always Venus whether it is in Pisces or Aries. In Pisces it urges one to a sweeter, more passive, idealistic, sensitive expression of affection, whereas in Aries it urges one to more active, passionate assertion of affection. For the Asc in each sign, you can consult my rising sign descriptions, or any of the numerous ones given by various astrology authors. What you are asking really requires an entire book to answer, and those books are the best place to study to gain this understanding. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Complete Rising Sign Descriptions IP: Logged |
