What kinds of placements denote strength?

Strength of ALL levels. Emotional, mental and physical. It seems that the strongest sign emotionally is Scorpio. The strongest physically is Aries, and the strongest mentally is Aquarius. Would you agree or disagree?

I also feel that placements and aspects can certainly affect whether someone is weak or strong. For example, Mars in Cancer is in its fall, but when modified with a strong conjunction to Pluto, it becomes almost obsessed with gaining inner and outer strength.

I'd love to hear more about your opinions and experiences...thanks all!

Too much comfort makes everyone weak, being too comfortable makes you less strong in the long run.

When butterflies go through metamorphosis, they must push through their crystalis, they can't be helped. If they are helped they die. They must struggle to free themselves to have powerful wings to fly away.

I think strength is viewed differently by other people. Your idea of strength will be different from mine. For example, my idea of mental strength is someone who has a independent mind, who can think for themselves, and see the world in many facets, and not afraid to explore the unknown. My idea of emotional strength is someone being able to accept human vulnerabilities in others and themself, to walk in other people's shoes and not be scared of the human condition, and to try to really understand their point of view, empathy and sincerity. To use their emotions to grow and not manipulate others, to be authentic, that to me is emotional strength...

In my own chart, I have Mars in Cancer in 12th (my Mars is suppose to be weak and ineffective by cookbook standards) and a Water/Air chart and people see me as strong, even though I don't feel it all the time. I have many planets in Cadent houses. Neptune aspecting many of my planets, Asc, MC. I have Leo Rising/Aries MC and only 1 planet in Fire, and it's my measly Venus. I don't have a formidable chart with strong 10th or angles or lots of Fire, Mars in the 1st, Pluto in 8th etc. My chart is mystical and sensitive but people keep saying I have leadership abilities or give off a strong presence.

My Mars is widely conjunct Sun, sextile Pluto, square Jupiter, sextile Saturn, semi-sextile Venus, widely trine Neptune, square MC. My Mars is Decan Pluto/Scorpio, Dwad in Scorpio, Duad is Aquarius.

Moon in scorpio is emotionally strong. People make the mistake of calling water moons weak because we are open to experiencing deep emotions, but thats actually what makes a water moon so strong. Esp scorpio, who can face the depths of the worst emotions head on and be willing to feel every bit of it when most of us would shut off or take measures not to feel so much. Thats why I feel the signs that "shut off" to escape their feelings are the weakest. Aqua moon comes to mind... They shut off because they know mentally that if they opened themselves up to all the emotions, they would break. They know they cant handle it. Despite being water, pisces is kind of weak too, they would rahter escape into dreamland than face the cold world, but the sometimes you run into the fish that swim upstream, and those can be stronger than a scorpio moon.

And of course aries is physically strongest! I can see an aries sun, taurus mars person (or taurus sun, aries mars) being super strong. BUT this one is tricky... I think cap and saturn should be involved too. Because there are a lot of people that arent gifted with strength but they take the time to build muscle and become strong. Even though earth rules the physical realm, I think fire really is the element of natural athleticism.
