What's your fave? Why?I have Solarfire Gold v.8 and just ordered the Asteroids package but I'm wondering if Sirius/Kepler might be better for asteroid stuff; they sure have a lot of functions for asteroid exploration listed on their website. Would it be worth buying one of these programs additionally? Any insight or experience at all much appreciated. IP: Logged |

This thread is on fire! Maybe it would be better placed in the asteroid thread. IP: Logged |

I intend to get SolarFire gold since I think its the best program out there in terms of accuracy, declinations features. Can't say anything about the asteroid features since that is not a big thing for me.------------------ The Declinations Guy Complete Rising Sign Descriptions IP: Logged |

I'm getting Sirius as soon as I get some funds free: it has great features from the youtube videos, lots of customization options, I've been following his videos for awhile: https://www.youtube.com/user/DavidCochrane100Janus 4 sucks, I use that and it's not near as nice as Sirius IP: Logged |

I suppose preferences would depend upon what your interests are and what you want the software to do. I'm quite fond of my old AstroDataBank software. I wish it was still available for purchase. Apps count as software, don't they?..I recently downloaded Aquarius2Go on my phone and have been having a bit of fun playing with that app lately. I do not have SolarFire, but I do know quite a few people have it and like using it. ------------------ Got the Wings of Heaven on my Shoes. I'm a dancin man and I just can't lose.
