I was searching some info on the internet about my daughter's chart and watched my chart for the 100.000th time and my eye fell upon the trine aspect between Venus and Neptune which astro.com automatically shows. I have learned to use a 6 degree orb for the trine but this aspect is 7.59. It's considered too wide for many but for others it's still a trine. I never counted it. Might be that it's a weak trine (and out of sign also). I am still not sure but I guess I do feel it. It's that I was always searching for this Neptune umpf that I feel but I never considered it to be valid with Venus (it does inconjunct my Sun and my Moon in minor aspect). What do you think? I saw someone on here (dj) who had an interesting point about orbs http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/016424.html I guess it remains something to debate about? IP: Logged |

Yes, I consider 8* too wide an orb for a trine aspect between Venus and Neptune. However, you could still have a Venus-Neptune aspect in your chart. Look in the declinations.Astro.com's standard orbs are set for luminaries. I reduce them to 80% in that option in the extended chart selection. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Complete Rising Sign Descriptions IP: Logged |

Thanks! Yeah, I always use 6, like I said. When I reduce to 80% it's still shows up as a trine though. I used to use less than 80%.Declinations, I don't know what to do with those. I have tried before but... have no clue. I know how it works but I guess I should study it some more. Thanks again! Gemini30, don't feel it huh? Maybe it's the Sun and Moon aspects to Neptune I feel after all. Do you have any more Neptune aspects? IP: Logged |

Yeah, so you can fairly say you have low Neptune energy? I am just too scattered to stay focussed. Once I start learning about it I get distracted by something else really interesting. IP: Logged |

Is 7 degree too wide for a tribe between venus and the sun?I generally use under 3 orbs for the trine and I feel that. ALOT when it comes to SYNASTRY but not sure for the luminaries which is why I ask. ------------------ Sun Capricorn, Moon Aries, Libra Rising IP: Logged |
