Third house = short distances, ninth = long. Sag placements ...My Aries friend is a truck driver who travels every day a few 100 km's. He has his 3rd filled up with Sun, Merc and Chiron. But I guess you mean long distance? And what is a lot? Every week? Every month? IP: Logged |

I know someone who travels for work all the time, I am assuming more than 50 countries until now. Sag rising, uranus, pluto and most importantly mars in the ninth house. He is an aries with his ruler in the 9th.EDIT @Sylven know that you mentioned the third house, he also has saturn, chiron, moon, venus, and sun in the third

Yep, I'm talking about long-distances, for both, recreation, like someone who likes to travel, to see and learn about new countries, and for work, if someone will travel a lot cause of work. Sorry for my bad, short previous question. Some astrologer said to me long ago, that there is a chance for me to travel a lot, maybe cause of work. I'm not sure what kind of job it could be, I would only travel cause of recreation for now, I have that in plan, one day just to start my long journey, and see everything I want, especially those places with ruins of old civilizations. So that's one reason I asked this question. What I have in 3rd house are Uranus and Neptune, conjunct each other, and Saturn opposites my Chiron on my MC.And have Mars in 9th house opposites Uranus and Neptune. Also have Pallas and Ceres in 3th house, but not sure if it's important.. IP: Logged |

I have my Pisces sun and Venus in the 9th house and I live abroad and travel frequently. Look at your 3rd house for short travel and 9th house for long travel. Also I heard that you should look at the rulers of these houses and their aspects to Jupiter. IP: Logged |

A lot of 3rd house, 9th house placements suggest restlessness and wanting to mentally/physically move around. Now the planets Mercury, Jupiter, Mars and Uranus are the most active planets IME. Neptune, Moon and Pluto in these houses encourage more emotional/mental "moves". Mars in 9th house wants to get up and cover as much ground as possible. Looking to evaluate things from a bigger picture. Uranus on the 3rd house suggests a craving to discover the novelty of everyday travel. Usually short distance. Some of your most brilliant & inspirational ideas, usually come when you are exposed to the "newness" of your close environment or during short-distance trips(3rd). Now Neptune in 3rd,makes you extremely sensitized to what is going on around you(in real time). So Neptune in 3rd is tapped in,turned on to words, the minutia, the immediate environment etc and is extremely responsive to it. I have Moon in 3rd myself and this does not necessarily spring to me the desire to travel physically everywhere. What it does do however, is make me sensitive to the destination of where I am going. Certain places(physical) and even methods of travelling, evoke certain strong emotional reactions. So those that have Neptune,Moon,Pluto must pay more attention to what they observe and expose themselves to. Neptune and Moon(in particular), tend to internalize those experiences mentally- for good or ill. IP: Logged |
