I have 31 charts listed on astrotheme.com. A few of them have Yods, but none of them have a Grand Cross.

I have a Cardinal Grand Cross with 1H Saturn/South Node, 4H Mars, 7H Chiron/North Node, and 10H Jupiter. Also, my chart ruler, Mars, happens to be the "point" of a Yod. I suppose it is quite rare, but I don't know how rare.

Do you only count planets in a grand cross?

My Sun is opposite Chiron, and squares my AC/DC and Nodal axis'. They are all within 4 and a half degrees, right in the center of the fixed signs, so they're also parallel/contra-parallel. My chart is very compact, with all of my planets within 80 degrees. Aside from the fixed cross I only have conjunctions, sextiles, and quintiles. I'm also an earth void, except for Chiron. None of my angles fall in earth signs either, because I have intercepted/duplicated signs. My angles are all in air and fire signs.

Well I have Grand cross with chiron, sun jupiter,venus and moon..

I also have cradle and two trines

It's pretty common with asteroids and angles and Moon.
Not that common with just planets (Moon excluded). Usually there are specific years when there's a cross aligning in the sky and it's a powerful configuration with global impact. The modal energy is frontal. Last one was the Cardinal Cross peaking in April 2014.

It definitely counts You have a leadership configuration through your Moon Mars Mercury.

Maybe using integrated, complex intuition/ emotional/verbal expressivenes through your Mars as a way to excel?

I have several in my chart, my most important:

Mutable Cross with

Sun/Venus
Jupiter/Juno
Neptune
Eros
It looks like a lover cross

and

a Fixed Cross

Moon
Lilith
MC/Vesta

This one looks rather vocational.
