Hello everyone! Mercury just got out of retrograde on October 9th, and as always happens for me I noticed that while it was retrograde my thinking was very foggy and I was constantly thinking about things from my past. I also tend to be alot more emotional during this time and react to things instantly based on my feelings rather than being more logical like I am normally. I have Mercury rx natally but I can still feel when it retrogrades in transit because my thinking goes all wonky. I can only imagine what people without it rx in their natal feel like during this time!I actually didn't have any major malfunctions from technology though *knocks on wood* but I remember about a year ago when mercury was Retrograde and my car battery stopped working, my desktop pc's hard drive quit on me losing most of what was on it, AND I spilled water on my laptop rendering it obsolete as well, all within the same week! How does Mercury Rx usually affect you? Do you have it Rx in your natal? Has anything really crazy happened to you during a Mercury retrograde such as a relationship suddenly coming back into your life, or several inconvenient malfunctions from computers, phones, cars ect? It makes me slow and foggy. Things appear unclear and I become frustrated! My chart ruler is Mercury and also overall ruler by Pullen. IP: Logged |

honestly, every single time it goes the same way:For the bulk of the time I think "wow, this actually isn't that bad!" Things will maybe break or there may be accidents here and there, but generally, it just winds up being a time of reflection and slowing down. Then, at the end, all hell breaks loose. I get in fights with people, or feel suddenly like I cannot relax around ANYONE. I make mistakes at work or have a bad rehearsal. I actually think the end of the retrograde period (the shadow period) is always just a disaster for me. I need to find a hole to crawl into. IP: Logged |

My merc is very strongly aspected in my chart btw. I mean, my voice is literally my career for one thing, and being able to use it is huge. This retrograde period, I got sick and lost my voice entirely.Mean, mean mercury rx.... IP: Logged |

I wanted to contact my Pisces ex rather badly (it happens every single time Mercury or Venus go RX). I was obsessed. When Mercury turned direct, I lost interest in contacting him. Go figure ... Both my computer and phone broke down at the same time which cost me a job opportunity but I believe everything happens for a reason, so I'm not too bumped. IP: Logged |

Mercury rules my sun, my venus and my mars, and during Mercury RX, it seems like I can never make advances or headway in any area connected to the things these planets rule in my chart. The Sun rules my work, Mars rules my money, and Venus my relationships and sex life. Any new person I meet or start dating during mercury Rx, any job I start, any new project i undertake, any application for job I fill out, nothing I do comes to fruition. It's eerie. I used to think it was all in my head, and I would forge ahead anyway, only to realize no, it's not all in my head. For people who are not so mercury influenced, I am sure Mercury Rx is not like swimming in molasses. IP: Logged | |
