Lately I've been studying the charts of celebrities. In particular, the mega famous. (Think most googled of 2015 kind of famous.) Anyway, I've noticed a trend with celebrities today. They all seem to have one of these 2 commonalities in their charts:

-planets conjunct the angles (in particular the ASC and midheaven)
-A heavy 11th house

I don't find this to be as true with celebrities of the past. Maybe because there's less privacy due to social media? Anyway, that's not what I've come to seek out info for. Just thought it was interesting to point out.

This is what Im confused about:

We all have that one chart that baffles us. For me, it's my cousin's (which sucks because she's one of the few people close to me who actually takes astrology seriously)

Anyway, she has Jupiter and Mars conjunct her midheaven. Jupiter in particular is conjunct to the exact degree (7 degrees capricorn). Normally when I look at someone's chart, it all seems to make sense. I get a clear picture of that person's life and personality. But when I look at hers, I'm stumped. I told her it's like she should be famous or have this big career. However, she's single in her early thirties, lives a quiet life, has 2 daughters, kind of a dead end job, etc. I've even asked her to double check her birth certificate just to check for accuracy lol.

Now I KNOW that the natal chart shows POTENTIAL. But shouldn't the jupiter and mars there be sort of significant? Shouldn't it have played out in some way? Or maybe it will in the future? Let me know what you guys think.

Well, the fact that she can push through with a tedious job and support two daughters on her own is in keeping with Cap Mars on the MC, I think.

Cap Jupiter on the MC could mean that she is interested in religion and spirituality...and as you said, she is open to astrology. So she is probably open to a lot of other things as well. It's possible that she knows many people who think of her as the one person who is good to talk to about religion and spiritual concerns; she could be like a touchstone for them, and this may be a phenomenon that is culminating slowly into something larger down the line (Capricorn takes a while to mature.)

In other words it may be that she is in the early stages of developing a larger and more influential public position.

That's just my guess.

I'm not a real astrologer.

Thanks for your feedback Faith! She is easy to talk to and a hard worker. Jupiter on the MC would make sense if she were spiritual or religious, but she's not :/

Her chart literally makes no sense to me. I cant figure it out.

Her life ain't over yet, Bananaz! Like Faith was saying, the fact she has a steady job and raises two daughters is awesome.

Wait for some Pluto aspects to dig into the chart.

I've been estranged from my family for decades now... but, one of my daughters had her Mars Capricorn on MC H9 side... She became an activist on her college campus. She and a small-project team started a movement that spread nation-wide. Had to do against violence on college campuses, not just for women but for anyone under threat of assaults or had been a victim. They began small community counseling centers that incorporated helping those in the nearby surrounds too.

(I'm very proud of the Good she did with her life then---- I have no idea what she's doing now? but I'm certain that whatever she puts her hands to can't help but prosper. She's an awesome~Being.)

(And like Faith says, I'm not a trained astrologer either... For me, I would like to work towards the process of training and certification.)
{{Love you, Faith !}}

She's very lucky to have a cousin like you to watch over her, Bananaz!

Very true @mirage Lol I am making assumptions I guess. When we were younger, I always thought she might do something great with her life. She was very artistic/ edgy/ creative back then. One of those people who strummed to the beat of their own drum...so the way her life played out does surprise me.

That's very cool to hear about your daughter. What a great way to see the Mars play out! Hope you are able to reconnect one day (if that's what you want) to find out how she's doing.

On a totally different note: Glad to hear you are planning to get certified. I WISH Universities would offer astrology as a legit degree. It kind of makes me mad that it's not currently offered. The study has been around for thousands of years...the same can be said with acupuncture, which a lot of people consider a useless practice (not me of course, I swear by it). So why doesn't astrology get the same credit? Very frustrating.
