I think in January it will officially enter Scorpio:Progressed Sun in Scorpio When your progressed Sun enters Scorpio, you need to transform yourself by letting the things that no longer serve a positive purpose in your life die. We all have things that we keep, whether they be habit patterns, mental states, relationships, or emotional issues, and to truly be find yourself, you have to move on from these. Understand that you hold great power over yourself, and you can change any part of yourself that you need to. Don’t try to control others, only yourself, and you’ll transform yourself in ways that will help you become a force. If you fight it, you’ll experience problems with power and control. This may seem like a heavy position, but it’s one that offers tremendous growth. I am already feeling it though perhaps bc of transit Saturn.. I do feel shifts when the big 3s move signs in personality that change your focus, approach or priorities... IP: Logged |

I don't know. Not really, but I may have to think about it. Certainly my asc and moon I do feel the progression very strongly. IP: Logged |

I think the natal is always the template. The Progressed is more of an overlay like trying on a really, new trendy pair of shoes if you always wear sneakers ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I think this might be true for me, too - although I think I'm recovering parts of me that were lost years ago. Or I had been, before certain things happened. My progressed Sun changed signs three years ago, and immediately conjoined my Moon, then Venus, then South Node. It also squared Mars. Before that, my Sun progressed into Taurus, when I was around six years old. IP: Logged |

Progressed Sun in Taurus When your progressed Sun enters Taurus, you become more drawn to having things of value in your life. You want more material wealth, fine items, but you’re also concerned with core values and beliefs. You crave more stability in your life, and want to keep things even and calm. You’re less likely to want to rock the boat, and you continue working on things you’ve begun in the past and have already been proven to work instead of taking great leaps with new, innovative ideas. You take your time, not in any rush to get through anything, and want to kick up your feet and relax more often. You may feel more sensual and in touch with the Earth on a physical level.Progressed Sun in Gemini When your progressed Sun enters Gemini, you want to have more varied experiences. You’re less resistant to change, and need it to a certain degree. You want to experience new things, learn new things, and your mind is more active and curious. You can adapt to situations more easily instead of being so rigid and stuck in your ways. You’re more sociable than you have been, and you want to communicate with others. You’re more chatty, engage in more conversations, want to write, speak, read, study, get and give advice, and open up your mind to people as a way to grow. You’re much better with details and small tasks, and you can seem more scattered at times, putting energy into many different things. IP: Logged |

I am Libra ASC and now a Pr Scorpio ASC. I can feel the suspicion. I can feel the "street smarts" I can feel the Scorpio glare, a bit. However, at heart, I am still a warm, fluffy Libra ASC ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

My sun sign had progressed into cancer from Gemini several months ago. It's going to conjunct my natal Venus in a few weeks. I don't feel much different or anything.IP: Logged |

"- changed signs (from Cap to Aqua-- big year for me!)" For me, too. I met P when my pSun was LITERALLY progressing into Aquarius. Well it did 3 days later, so I think that is close enough. and 2 weeks before I way having sp Moon entering Taurus within 24 hours of sp Moon squaring sp Sun. Also the actual night I met him I was having an absolutely precise conjunction of spJupiter to my nJUNO (he was having hte precise conjunction of pSun conjunct nVenus that very night). The accuracy always astounds me. " aspected a natal planet or angle (especially by conjunction)" Yes. esp. the pMoon seems to be more of a trigger planet. Come to think just the month after I met P, my pMoon was opposing my n Uranus while pSun squared nUranus. which of course coincided with my pMoon entering 5th house as well. "- was hit by a conjunction from a transiting planet" Yes actually that is being underestimated, but I DEFINITELY feel that Tr Pluto on my spASC (and have so for a while) which is on 11°59 Capricorn as we speak.
"But I can't say that I actually feel like a true blue Aquarius. Maybe I've just been this way for so long, I forget what it was like having my pr sun in Capricorn." For me the progressions do not feel as if I am more Aquarian or Capricorn or whatever (the pMoon in Leo might be an exception. ), but Aquarius or Capricorn stuff seems to be highlighted. Experiences we associate with these signs.
For example my ASC progressed into CApricorn literally within a week of me moving out from home into my first flat on my own, starting my years as a teacher in training, which of course included taking full responsibility for myself, taxes, rent, insurance, not to mention everyday organisation (I was also having my Saturn Return during that period). I was not really more Saturnian by nature, but I had to incorporate certain behaviouralt traits, I just pulled those Saturnian things into my life and had to deal with them. Which for a Sag is not the easiest feat. lol When my Sun progressed into Aquarius alongt with the square to Uranus and Tr Uranus was square my n Sun as well - it was just all sorts of crazy unpredictable stuff, including seeing Mr Law on stage after a Kamikaze-trip to London where every single safety blanket I had was crumbling away. I was not more Aquarian (I am always Aquarian with my MOon there), but all that Uranian stuff happening. Gotta deal with it (I eventually came to the conclusion that it is best if I plan in advance always take into consideration that the plans will be changed totally within a blink of an eye. and that actually has proven the best way to cope). You betya I felt it babe! It's integration, mine is in Leo since 2001! I do feel much more confident and great ever since it changed. Funnily I have always hated to sit in the sun for too long but ever since my P sun changed into Leo the sun is my BEST friend. Really a love relationship. Still love the other seasons as well but it's just that I can handle the heat much better. Also my wardrobe is full of colours and red. Before I was a tomboy and before that I was a punky. Now, much more female. Started buying some heels as well. Though I don't really like them that much, sometimes I wear them (of course they must be a little weird I don't like them to be boring). So yeah, I do feel much more Leonine which is my Venus sign. But... my Ascendant in progression is in Libra. All much more fashionable than when I was younger. When Progressed Venus was conjunct my natal Asc. I started dating my husband and dressing much better. I feel both. I feel Cancer ánd Leo. Though the spot light disappeared instead of appeared for me. Later on I picked up the singing and stage again but only for a a few moments. I did spotlight stuff much more when it was still in Cancer. So that's weird. So when did it change for you?

Sylven, I've felt the same way about the sun, since mine moved into Gemini. Even a touch before that. IP: Logged |

I remember the period my pSun went from Gemini to Cancer, for sure I became very emotional, it did not take much to make me cry in those days. Classmates called me, 'cry baby'. Years later after I got into astrology then looked at my pChart it all made sense. Funnily, most of the things I cried about were silly, I just couldn't stop the waterworks. A bigtime bully/uncle left the family home during this transition. As I watched him walk away I felt...ahhhhhh....it's a peaceful new day. IP: Logged |

What do you mean, the sun as in warmth of the actual sun? Or the changing signs? It's cool you got to experience 2 other signs in your young life. What is it like being in Gemini? Did it lighten stuff up? What happened socially? Where is it in your natal?

I don't feel a difference. But the change happened a while ago, I think I was... 14. That's the time I had my first "real" heartbreak. pSun was squaring my Moon at the time. But nope, definitely not feeling Saggy-like. That's my NN so I guess it won't just easily come to me. (*And* it's my 7H of projection. Nope, not happening any time soon.) ETA. Actually, sometimes I do feel Saggy-like. I have random bouts of hope/faith and the urge to travel and explore. But that's all in my head. A real Sag would just up and do it. Lol. IP: Logged |

I think my progressed sun has finally crossed over from Pisces to Aries. I don't really feel it to be honest. But then again, I am an Aries Mars and Venus. So I already have some Aries in me to begin with. I guess I'm more outspoken and confident than when I was younger. But then again, I feel like that's a normal part of "growing up", to gain more self-acceptance and to care less what others say. So I'd credit it to my aging rather than a professed sign.
