I thought i should make a thread instead of derailing Auby's thread!

I find the whole septile series very interesting...they are about wisdom or searching to find wisdom....they are one of the "infinite" aspects because the number 7 is never whole so it continues on forever.
They give an ability to comprehend realities other than your own, i defnitely see how they could relate to TF and SM relationships. They also are considered inline with the vertex axis, which gives us access to other realities definitely an aspect that potentially helps one to undestand or cross realities relating to our higher self/consciousness...

Each septile has its own meaning, the 7 pointed star....each aspect is like a part of a spritual evolution.

What i used to do is start from someones AC, use the AC as the first degree and then count every septile aspect/degree and find what planet/asteroid fell there on that septile.
Whichever septile it is and its meaning is related the planet/asteroid and growth...
It tells a story about how you can gain wisdom/evolution with each of those starting points.
I have alot of my planets falling septile each other...
You can do the same with your Sun as the first degree and your Moon, Merc, Venus, Mars...
Its really amazing to research...

The septile series is the name given to the set of aspects created when 360 degrees is divided into seven.
The septile has an angle of 51.4287 degrees or in more real terms 51 degrees 25 minutes 43 seconds, and a rounded up 51 .5 degrees.

Much of mye understanding of the septile series comes from knowledge of the number 7 in numerology. Again and again the septile series expresses itself just as the number 7 in numerology. The seven in numerology is well known in its association with spirituality, mysticism, wisdom and success, people are dignified, often educators and have a love of nature, they are usually silent, spiritual or scientific, or studious. But there is a negative side which can also be associated with the septile series, my keyword personality characteristics in this area are; aloofness, coldness, lives in the past, peculiar, skeptical and unapproachable. The very destructive influences of the seven can manifest in; dishonesty, cheating, being faithless, a gossip, sarcastic and having secret motives, which appeal to the criminal mind.

In numerology, the 7's very first expression in communication is "give me time to think about it", so anyone with more than the average number of septiles in their chart [or a prominent 7 in their birth-date /name] will have a tendency to "sleep on it" or review things in their own time, don't expect quick e-mail replies from septile people. All communications and actions are made in “their time”, and nothing will hurry them up, this often makes them appear out of step with others and the world around them, unless the natal chart shows great punctuality and rhythm of life, they may listen to the beat another drum, often natures own.

Curiously the number 7 is associated with the planet Neptune in the natal chart, and the south node. While Neptune is notably associated with the attributes of faith and religion, [alongside Jupiter] the more imaginative projections, ESP and idealisms, illusions and transcendental happenings are placed in the realms of Neptune. Neptune is also associated with chemists, physicists and inventors. The tri-septile, often requires help and aid from others to recognise the potential. The understanding of the south node becomes more apparent when going through the septile cycle, the 206 degree, fourth harmonic particularly resonates with the south node, where the past is left behind, nothing is ever as it was before.

People who are born to the 7th Moon phase also have this expression in their life, of leaving home, leaving the past behind them, in some shape or form, often explorers who dare to re-locate to another part of the world, or explore themselves through daring. Don’t worry about a child with such a prominent 7 or a septile series or life path, they are the favourites of everyone they meet, due to their ability to adjust and exhibit a nature of non-discrimination, often a 7 person has a wide circle of helpers. Those with prominent septiles often underestimate their talents and potentials, they are often sweet and charming with very human qualities.

Their brilliant and practical ideas attract people like magnets, some are good story tellers and speakers, others may travel to foreign lands, become diplomats, or gain recognition in their field. The septile can be seen in the charts of the peacemaker, the arbitrators or the spiritual masters. The bi-septile is an indication of the advisor. If drawn into the immoral side of the law they can make master criminals, being both secretive and sly. Septile patterns are seen in the charts of drug dealers and tricksters as well as priests. Those with predominant septiles and 7’s are often drawn into meditation, they may have a variety of clairvoyance abilities, personal magnetism, hypnotic powers, and the ability of transferring channelled energy.

Between the ages of 35-45 the intuitive powers increase, some can reads the minds of others as clearly as reading a book, often their spiritual life takes off after these years. The 7’s have remarkable dreams, which give direction, and can be associated with Neptune.
I use the solar fire software “aspect frequency analysis” for assessing aspect hits in a natal chart. This is generally 2 hits for the septile, 3 for the bi-septile and 3 for the tri-septile. Those with higher hits than mentioned are definitely aware of other realities, and dissolving boundaries between worlds. People associated with the number 7 [either through their name number, or date of birth or septile sequence in their natal chart], need more rest than other people, they can't take loud noises, crowds, noise or commotion, for them balance is maintained through serenity.

Both prominent septiles and 7’s are usually conservative in dress and usually only speak when they have something to say, unless the natal chart defines something different.7 is the number of faith, and those with prominent septile series, find they have to endure events which "test their faith". The testing of faith is quite possibly the most important issue in the septile series. All septiles challenge a person’s faith in one way or another. 7 is also the number of the specialist, so if you seek advice from a seven, you know you are getting a valuable perspective, one that is built on observation and thought over a period of time. 7's like to be alone. Often in astrology the position and aspects of Saturn and Capricorn can show loneliness, but the difference with the number 7, or harmonic 7 is that "being alone" is the chosen state preferred! A 7 person is either an outspoken skeptic or spiritually inclined, 7’s never show indifference on this subject. If a 7 likes you, they will open up, but generally they are hard people to get to know, they need love, understanding and compassion, basically they are intuitive intellectuals and prefer to keep part of themselves secret.

Below are my own findings for the different septile aspects, I have not seen these interpretations given anywhere else, obviously including the houses and signs give further meaning to each individual chart.

The first septile, 51.5*

Shows an impetus for new understanding, a person instinctively knows how to improve on things, they may voice their criticisms or have self assertions to see how their new understanding is received by others.

Bi-septile 103 *

The person becomes a central sounding board for everyone else, they embody other peoples problems and resolve their dilemmas, so often in events there is a form of exchange, testing the waters and seeing how others have done, being the oracle for others.

The tri-septile 154.5 *

Its about giving expression to the potential, the potential can be anything, simply enquiring or consulting with another to find the potential, it can be showing others the potential of themselves. Things tend to be laid bare.

Quad-septile 206*

A shock, the discord, the shattered expectation, the change in tradition, or the way of doing things, a break from the past, the test of inner strength when everything around tumbles down in pieces, broken but the spirit is stronger than ever, its about facing a catastrophe and surviving, or being offered the dream.

Quin-septile 256* [bi-septile]

Great strength, great power energy available, can be used in healing, great healers wielding power to rebalancing others, conceives order, projects them onto the world, contributes to society, a simple living. re-energizes, hears natures vibration, in many different ways, feels a part of nature.

Sen-septile 307*

Universal consciousness, sharing experiences, being a spokesman for others, having followers, applying understanding to human needs, great "perception".

In early 2005, I had a reading from a psychic, who read my personal magnetics, because she was so precise in her dates, I returned and reviewed the astrology for the year against her predictions and realised she was actually reading my astrology chart. She showed me just how important the ascendant is. So I have always put my starting point for harmonics since then at the Ascendant, some astrologers use the Aries point, but I find the Ascendant far more revealing! By making the Ascendant the start of the 7th harmonic sequence, the first septile lands in possibly the 11th house, 51.5 degrees away, and going in a clockwise direction, should any planet fall on these natural septile degrees, the life is likely to express the changes shown by the septiles above in some way.

Therefore the 206 degrees clockwise from the Ascendant is a precarious position, that is 26 degrees below the descendant degree and possibly in the 6th house. What ever planet or asteroid is there shows the potential cause of a shock and life changing experiences.
At 104 degrees from the ascendant in approximately the 4th house, is the 256 degree bi-septile, it is a location of where “power” can be tapped into.

Its worth just making a plastic template with the natural septile points on, so they can be placed over a chart and aligned with the ascendant, any sensitive points can be seen immediately, these septile points would otherwise not be picked up by the standard astrological software. When placing the septile series against the Midhaven, a persons career changes accordingly, if planets are on these degrees. A friend with a conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter on the 206 degree suggesting career change, unexpectedly became a professor, I have Uranus at this degree, Uranus rules the 9th and 10th houses, twice I have given up work [career] and lived abroad at a moments notice.

In the septile series there are the septile (51+ degrees), biseptile (102+ degrees), and triseptile (154+ degrees). Due to the non-rationality of the numbers produced when the circle is divided by 7, it is assumed that these aspects represent the non-rational points in the cycle. Thus on a personality level they show as obsessive or compulsive behavior, irrationality or strange inexplicable points in the process. And of course, as you know if you've been reading this column for any length of time, when operating as a transit they represent critical "forks in the road of destiny," where we must choose which way we will define our personality and therefore our future.

7 is Saturn's number, so that's why it is assumed these points deal with "destiny." Since "character is destiny," as you make your character by your choices you forge your destiny our of the mass of potentials you could choose into the concrete choices that reveal your ability to respond to your karma. This is the true "response-ability" that we accept as a result of Saturn's lessons. Any planet septiling, biseptiling, or triseptiling any other planet has hit a fork in the road of that process, a point where reason and rationality may not serve your ability to choose.

The septile, falling 51 degrees 25 minutes from any given point, shows the first or last fork in the road relative to the conjunction. The waxing septile comes after the first internal crisis of growth at the waxing semisquare and precedes the productive period shown by the waxing sextile. The waning septile comes after the final productivity of the waning sextile phase of the process and the choice at the waning septile precipitates the internal crisis at the waning semisquare. It is a point of emergent choice showing which way the process will develop, or final choice before the disintegration of the old form, forming the seed that will grow anew at the rebeginning of the next conjunction.

The biseptile, falling 102 degrees 50 minutes from any point, is said to be a point of "exteriorization of destiny." While sounding very dramatic, in fact it is simply the next fork in the road of the process that starts at any conjunction, or the next point where the irrational elements of being will show up. It is the natural decision point after the crisis of the waxing square before the productive period of the waxing trine, and usually involves some deep stuff, since it falls in the fourth house relative to any point. The waning biseptile has the same irrational "exteriorization of destiny" qualities, but since it falls in the ninth house relative to any point, it is the culminating fork in the road to seeing the truth of a thing, and it precedes the culmination point of the waxing square.

The triseptile comes in at 154 degrees 16 minutes, and indicates more of a non-rational, cooperative-collective point in the process, since it always falls in the sixth or seventh house relative to a point. It is like the other points in quality, except that it usually involves other people who are also at a critical fork in their own cooperative road. These are points of adjustment, refinement, shifts in how and who you related to, and show you how others are or are not a part of your larger "destiny."

A final important note: if you have two or more planets in a septile, biseptile, or triseptile to each other, they will naturally create resonant "void points" where other septile series aspects fall. These are trigger points for irrational conditions or personality "destiny" elements to come forth in the life. Though these periods can seem very weird indeed, they are points of choice, decision, and movement where reason may fail even though major things are in motion.

I have a Septile between my Moon and Uranus.. And a Septile between Uranus and Saturn. Making my Moon and Saturn bi-septiling eachother..

There may be others, but, I haven't spent that much time looking for them.. xD

Septiles seem interesting.

Seems I COULD have my Ascendant bi-septile Neptune.. But.. I'm not certain. (Considering the simple fact that birth-times are somewhat questionable at times..)

First of all Thank you so much for sharing all this with me, I feel you have opened up a magical portal for me to get lost in for a while.

The descriptions of the number 7 traits really fits me. I do require a lot of alone time but is a preference truly which my family has a hard time understanding. I am always seeking and exploring specially in the realm of spirituality, the unconscious, and multidimensionality, I have this urge to delve deeply into the unknown in the hopes to unlock something in my subconscious specially lately more than ever; I think perhaps transit pholus on my AC-neptune-morpheus is responsible for accentuating this need. I am always in my mind digging, I am realizing that it has to do with septiles this compulsion; this eternal search that never ends...

"Curiously the number 7 is associated with the planet Neptune in the natal chart, and the south node."

There you go I have Southnode in the 12th conjunct my AC and Neptune-Morpheus in the 1st conjunct my AC and transit Pholus on my AC!

Its interesting that you mentioned age 35 to 45 being a key time to developing my instincts and spirituality as I am thinking that time will coincide with transit Neptune conjuncting my IC and squaring my natal Neptune.

I do want to develop my instincts more and I feel lately they are more in tune than ever but have a long way to go, perhaps that is what my 30s is about heightening my instincts, exploring multidimensionality via dreams, and spreading a lot of love (I do have neptune-AC quintile AMOR) as well as putting my inner demons and insecurities to sleep and letting go of certain dynamics...

This has been a fascinating read Gabby, thank you.

Hyp and RTS.....make sure you go clockwise, the septiles move opposite because (imo) they start from the higher consciousness/souls prospective or starting from the 12th house...

"In early 2005, I had a reading from a psychic, who read my personal magnetics, because she was so precise in her dates, I returned and reviewed the astrology for the year against her predictions and realised she was actually reading my astrology chart. She showed me just how important the ascendant is. Personally, i find this clockwise direction very interesting, because its what is use with septiles AND also the direction used in Sidereal astrology...the soul chart

"Clockwise House Rotation

In contrast to counter-clockwise house rotation, which is fitting to the aspiring personality looking upward, seeking soul-level awareness, clockwise house rotation is far more fitting if we are exploring soul-level sidereal astrology, as we are looking down from soul-level awareness upon incarnate life. This perspective upon incarnate life reveals what we are doing here on Earth from soul's vantage. With clockwise house rotation we are facing the movement of the planets, embracing their energetics, consciously evolving, rather than be blown around by them in circle, or worse yet running in reaction from the experrience they bring. Clockwise house rotation matches a day's unfoldment—as the Sun rises and the east (ASC) and sets in the west DSC): The IC is mid-night. The ASC (the eastern rising stars) is sunrise, day-break. The MC is noon, the day's culmination. The DSC (western setting stars) is sunset, days end. This east to west direction is also Earth's precessional direction, the opposite direction of planetary movement around our Sun. Precessional movement of Earth's pole (and the vernal axis) through heavens reveals the evolutionary cycle of the soul collective on Earth.

My moon Quad-septiles my Ex Venus which sextiles my Venus-Mars and inconjuncts my MOON and the below description you made really describes what our break up was for me which was one of the hardest things I had to deal with in my life, well the hardest probably.

"A shock, the discord, the shattered expectation, the change in tradition, or the way of doing things, a break from the past, the test of inner strength when everything around tumbles down in pieces, broken but the spirit is stronger than ever, its about facing a catastrophe and surviving, or being offered the dream."

Gabby I feel compelled to Start with the moon...

You see my Moon aspects both my exoteric ruler and my esoteric ruler, aspects my big 3s and squares my nodes. Further my moon is the bucket handler in my chart and forms a golden yod with chiron and pluto, it septiles my Osiris and biseptiles my Isis so there is a momentum there...

My personal journey is VERY moon centered for me so it makes sense to start there in my case..

This is how the star looks for me if I start with the moon:

Moon septiles Osiris, biseptiles Isis, triseptiles Makemake-Asclepius by Regulus, quadseptiles my Ophelia and his Venus go figure, quinseptiles on the great attractor, senseptiles my Lucifer @2d aqua.

WOW what do you think of asteroid Lucifer??

The septile series are found by dividing 360 degrees by 7 so the-
Your starting point....
Septile aspect = 51 degrees 25 minutes 43 seconds.
Bi-septile = 102° 51’26”
Tri-septile = 154° 17’ 08”
Quad-septile = 205° 42’ 51”
Quin-septile = 257°08’34”
Sen-septile = 308° 34’17”
This makes up a seven point star....

The bi-septile is interesting because its like a new beginning, your sitting at a crossroad trying to decide your next move after having just won a long hard battle.
Since its your moon and saturn, and we started with the Moon so this is your moons evolutional journey, saturns part is about taking responsibility to pick the next leg of your emotional journey.
Do you feel you've been forced into having to pick a definitive path from several but honestly are unsure about which is best? Or do you feel your coming to a crossroads and need to make important decisions but dont see a sign telling you which way to go? Its potentially going to feel like maybe youve just got to wing it, pick one and go, hoping your chosing wisely...

Yes, yes, yes!! xD..

There is a lot of confusion.. And.. As I once said before, I feel like Saturn is one of the major focal points in my chart. (It's in Pisces, in the 6th house.. But, I'm sure you kind of remember that from when I posted my chart..)

Funny thing is, Moldavia is conjunct it. I just started working with Moldavite once again recently (in the past I never really worked with it for very long..).. So.. I find it interesting that you were able to describe how I am feeling so strongly at this point in time..

Lol.. Right now, it's almost as if the moldavite is somewhat of a last resort.. And, considering what you said, I think that almost makes sense in a weird way.

Moldavia would actually possibly have an even tighter bi-Septile aspect with my Moon. I can't remember the exact degree though.

Lucifer is an angel of light, yes he stands for rebellion and he did go against God commands, in our charts this can be a sign of a person who rebells and hurts others or its showing a person who goes against what we are being told is the truth, finding their our own path that is not following the norm. Thinking for yourself.

This is your emotional story or journey and in this journey Lucifer stands in the position of a mouth piece, the place you habe learned so much and now its time to teach others what youve learned to help them.
Lucifer here would indicate your words and teachings will be unique, not what others are doing and maybe even go against what is typically thought to be correct...your willing to be the one who stands out as going against the crowd and blazing your own path to give others another option to follow.

Moldavite! I love that stone!! do you wear a piece of it constantly? If not, get one wire wrapped and do...it will help you make the right decisions, esp conjunct Saturn in this position. You already know its energy helps you become aware of your "devine quest" and push you along that road, as you know its related to the Holy Grail and Excalibur.

Yes i remember your chart!
Your Pisces saturn....how boy, its like an oxymoron!

Saturn wants control and pisces wants to disolve everything and return to the spritual realm.

The answer here is discipline in your spritual life, you must make time daily to reconnect to your higher self and let that connection be your guide.
If you dont do this saturn in pisces is dangerous because its so hard to handle and keep a grip on.
Its like trying to hold a spring tightly together, if you dont get some outside help, eventually the pressure of holding it will be to much. You will lose your grip in it and the spring will fly out of control.
Daily discipline that allows you to connect you to your spritual self is so necessary.

That is so me, the rebel who questions everything and comes up with her own ideas including her own ideas of God and spirituality even if is unpopular...I had no idea that Lucifer was so much part of my personality, it just opposes eros and angel but now it been the last stop of the star it makes sense is prevalent in my personality.

Requiem

Affirmation - I Bless All That Has Left My Life & All That Still Needs To Be Released

The Requiem is a prayer said for salvation of Souls who have crossed over. The asteroid Requiem can indicate what areas of life you may feel need to die for you or where you have felt that life has let you down through the passing of things you thought you wanted/needed in your life. This asteroid also appears to have a very strong spiritual energy connected to it that goes far beyond the structure of a religion and puts one square into what the truth of Spirituality really is for you. The essence helps you to connect with your own personal Spirituality as well as allowing you to release unto The Universe that which you need to let go of.
