I'm not sure why this is, since they are squared signs, but I've noticed time and time again that the person with Aries placements will be *really* (almost obsessively) into the person with Capricorn placements... but the fascination is not mutual. The Capricorn feels annoyed, as though Aries is being too pushy, too rude (childish) and invading their space. Maybe Aries sees Capricorn as a challenge... whereas Capricorn is just like: "Puh-lease! Get out of my hair!" Has anyone else noticed this? I see this pattern most of all in same-planet aspects. So, Aries Sun interacting with Capricorn Sun --- or --- Aries Moon with Capricorn Moon --- or --- Aries Mars/Capricorn Mars...etc IP: Logged |

I can't say I've noticed the same thing. Most often I don't see much attraction. Although with one of my aries friends, there was one hell of a pull between us. We met online and kept our interactions going for years, before we actually met in person. Now we even have a little business together. Another friend keeps a photo of him and me in his wallet, once I knew about it, snot was pouring out of me like oh my god I'm so fking touched. So in my experiences, the connection/pull doesn't happen often, but once it does, it's pretty special. IP: Logged |

I only have my husbands Aries Sun, Mercury (both 1H) as an example. He does have a Cap Mars though..I have a Cap Moon. We get along really, really well-almost like twins (we have opposite asc/dsc in Virgo, Pisces) but his Aries-ness grates on my nerves sometimes. He can be really childish, ignorant and selfish whereas I am the exact opposite. He does seem fascinated with my strength however, and I know his inner "child" hurts when he meets and greets my Cappy stone wall. He has been quite the wild horse in his earlier years and people/family around him have had no choice but to give him space and pretty much step out of the way but I don't budge, one centimeter. Eventhough he fights this, I know that deep down he appreciates the core stability I give him. Should add that the 2 other longest relationships in my life (5 and 7 years) have been with an Aries Moon and a Pisces Sun with Venus, Mercury in Aries so I am used to Aries energy. Oh, and my mom is an Aries rising IP: Logged |

No. Although I have noticed that I've been veering towards men with Capricorn Moon or Mars, in the past few years. IP: Logged |

Lol! This is actually true in my experience. Aries ****** me off right off the bat almost always! But they always seem to be drawn to me. The funny thing is, I always warm up to them..it just takes time.Cap Sun IP: Logged |

I am a Cap and whenever I realllyyy really get along with someone, like, instantly...I can almost guarantee it is an Aries. Most of my closest, longest term friendships are with Aries, or people with heavy Aries placements. I actually think it's because we have similar ambition and energy, and a need for a lot of laughs. I find myself cracking up and in witty conversations constantly with my Aries friends. Also,I just feel like they shake things off and move on quickly, which is a quality that is makes for really easy friendships. HOWEVER, I have never sustained a relationship with an Aries. Something doesn't click on that level - it almost always feels inappropriate to me to mess with such a pure friendship. I also wonder if the reason I get along with them so well usually is because I like Fire signs in general given I have almost zero Fire in my chart. I admire them, I guess. But for relationships, I say no. IP: Logged |

I have Mercury in Aries and Mars in Aries. My boyfriend has a Capricorn Moon and Capricorn Ascendant. He fell for me first. I didn't even have feelings for him when he confessed, but a day later he ended up winning me over by appealing to my Venus in Taurus.Although he's the one with stronger Capricorn placements, I was annoyed by his attention at first. This suggests that the "irritation" can go both ways. We don't have any same-planet synastry with Aries and Capricorn though. IP: Logged |

I am often very physically attracted to men with strong Capricorn placements, especially Sun, Mars, and Ascendant. That said, I can't say that there's much of a draw emotionally or romantically for me.Empirically speaking, I'm not sure I would say the feeling has been mutual. ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

If you go by the vedic concept of vasya, then Aries is supposedly "magnetically" attracted to Capricorn and Aquarius.. as an Aries Venus, I seem to love it when Capricorn placements square my Venus (other than one sextile my Venus is very stressed in my chart hence that allure I guess) IP: Logged |

I think an Aries is interested in the short term everything under the sun. Also Aries men kinda have cavemen problems. So they usually like the more quiet, demure women with some inner strength. A Saturnian might appear like that at first. Eventually Aries fund Cap boring. Cap find Aries immature. In the case it might work, cap finds Aries straightforward so he/she can set up a system of sort. But I assume most Aries eventually find cap boring. That's mostly for sun signs. Moon signs work better with each other. IP: Logged |

Lol. This is funny to me. I'm an Aries sun and I've never been interested in Capricorn. They have sometimes been interested in me but I just never really reciprocated. I have always liked Capricorn Venus and Mars though😍 But for the first time recently I've taken an interest in a Capricorn. And the dynamic is similar to what you described. At first he talked to me almost obsessively. All day, every day. I could see him replying to my texts as soon as I sent them. Then he randomly cooled off and I did the whole childish, pushy Aries thing (which is actually NOT something I EVER do in these situations). I demanded to know what was up and that I did not appreciate being used. Something about him just really ****** me off when he did that lol. He apologized and gave me an excuse for the lack of communication, but then cooled off again. Now he just texts me when he wants something😂 So I guess no, not generally for me. But there is definitely potential for that with the right Capricorn! IP: Logged |

I love Capricorns but they've never treated me like I'm annoying them. In fact, when I give Cappie moons too much space they seem to get irritated. People with Sun trine Saturn make me feel that way though, and I wonder if it's because I have Sun square Saturn. IP: Logged |

Yes, I've noticed this.. One of my closest friends is an Aries.. and she was positively obsessed with this Capricorn guy.. She convinced him in her usual bright, bold, charming way and they started going out.. Went out for a few years, in fact. Peppered with a lot of breakups. Frankly, she put up with a lot for his sake. Not that he didn't love her - he did, but, not as much as she did. IP: Logged |

I'm talking about "real life," not people I've known online. No troubles here at LL My experience with Aries suns is, I'm always instantly attracted to their enthusiasm, zest for life, purity, fashion sense... But it's like we are slated for an eventual breakdown. In that breakdown phase, Aries is saying things that upset/concern/shock/astound me...and I am downplaying it in my mind, focusing on the what I love about them. If it's like this for other Aries-Cap relationships, then maybe what Aries loves about Caps is our determination to idealize them no matter what, for an extended period of time. In many cases...there is a "shelf life" to this balance, though, where one or the other sign destroys it with some kind of overkill. Mars and Saturn are an almost unbeatable team when they work together and a bloody mess when they turn on each other. Unfortunately as I have Chiron in Aries, I've had some serious and painful issues with this sign...but overall, I still respect and admire Aries suns. They can be challenging, but Cap likes challenges. And I think, in many cases, if Aries is "into" Capricorn, they are just reciprocating what began with the Capricorn. IP: Logged |

^ Often, not always.I have had good, bad, and medium experiences with Aries suns. The bad experiences were really bad, the good experiences were really good. It's a square relationship, so it tends toward extremes, I think. IP: Logged |

Capricorn doesn't understand impulsiveness which is amazing to me as a triple Aries because they tend to be more "out there", but it's all planned. All of it!

Everything a Cap does has been planned, you mean? If so, I agree. Like I just thought about how to word this post for a minute. Because I don't want to look stupid if I misunderstood you, or accuse you of being unclear. I thought, "There must be a way to word this diplomatically..." IP: Logged |

That sounds like your Pisces moon, but that's just mho. Yes everything they do is exact and planned, and I notice everything they do is intentional. Err, let me put it in an example. A Capricorn and an Aries are at a bar. The Capricorn is more likely to spontaneously stand up and scream "I am the last of the Red Hot Peppers!" without embarrassment, whereas an Aries might end up doing the same thing after being amped up but regret it afterwards. The difference is the Capricorn meant to do it and it's true to who the Capricorn is, and that all happens in a split second whereas Aries will do something in order to prove something to others, to be seen as outgoing, to be liked... but ultimately that changes because they live in the moment, then Capricorn gets confused as to why Aries would ever do something that doesn't reflect who they are at their core. Capricorn is already grown and Aries never stops growing. <<< After that LONG winded example that's what it comes down to! Sorry! IP: Logged |

@hannaI love the Red Hot Chili Peppers I agree, a Cap acting wild isn't the same as an Aries acting wild. Cap puts forethought into everything...even when we are seeming "carefree," we're not...it's more like a well-practiced expression of our core of confidence, which we maintain by always being prepared for the worst. Meanwhile Aries seems to be able to genuinely let loose. Cap is older because of the old baggage we carry. Aries is younger by keeping things new, and confident because of that eternal youth. No amount of baggage ever seems to remove Aries' ability to keep fresh and alert to the present moment. Seems that way to me. IP: Logged |
