Just curious as to how my good Scorpio moon people out there deal with a harsh Moon/Saturn aspect? I'm curious because to me, this really seems like a really bad combination. Given to the nature of Scorpio moon and their really INTENSE feelings, how would a harsh aspect to Saturn manifest? How are your energy levels? Are you a people person? Introvert or Extrovert? Was your childhood more difficult than others? IP: Logged |

I have Scorpio moon square Saturn in Aquarius. It is an aspect of intense emotional suppression. In my case, it manifested in childhood in that I found I was "not allowed" to express my needs and emotions in a way that contradicted that of my parents. This led to silent rages and a compulsion to get my own way through a complex system of guile and deceit. Even now I am very cautious of revealing how I truly feel about something or someone. When affected deeply, I will act as if I am unaffected ... but deep inside I will be burning white hot. I guess this is a leftover from childhood - the belief that revealing true emotions makes you vulnerable and open to rejection. I don't think that I will ever completely outgrow this need to hide! Another thing, I like a bit of solitude every day. Being alone for some time on a daily basis gives me a space to create a boundary (saturn)within which I am able to nurture myself emotionally (moon). Being a square, I have to fight for my right to have that space. As for the rest of the questions - I am an introvert, but my close friends are extravert so I just coast along with all their socializing which suits me just fine. At work I manage a large staff component and get along well with most people. No dramas there - this is where my emotional self discipline probably comes in handy! In big social situations I am reserved, but work is different because people are paid to listen to me. Haha. However, I only let my hair down and act crazy when I am with people I REALLY know well. I am definitely one of those people who prefer a few close friends to 1000's of acquaintances. I do struggle with my energy levels, but force myself to work hard and generally keep on top of things. BTW I am married and have 3 children. Scorpio Moon square Saturn is not easy - life lesson you have to deal with is to move from a state of desperately craving validation of your true feelings to a state of emotional self-sufficiency where you are able to rely on your own inner being as the source of your self worth. Thank you for your post! Very well put. And im glad to hear you are married with children. This aspect has a tendency of putting a damper on relationships.

I can relate to pretty much everything Taineberry said.I don't have a Scorpio Moon, but Moon opposite Saturn and square Pluto (and a Scorpio Sun, perhaps that factors in). It's um, challenging, to say the least. IP: Logged |
