Venus is one of those planets, for which there is mainly good news. Venus lights up the angles she touches, with the exception of the Descendant, which has it’s own story. Venus is the planet of love. It is not sexual, per se. It is more like true love. Venus is, also, the planet of refinement and grace. It confers these attributes to the native when well placed.

Venus Conjunct the Ascendant

In this placement, the native is beautiful and graceful. It is a very fortunate placement, which lends to refinement, as well as physical beauty.

Venus Conjunct the IC

In this placement, the native was loved. Most likely, it was his mother who loved him. One can say that he felt like a beloved child, in his early home

Venus Conjunct the Descendant

The Descendant can be an unfortunate placement. The reason is that one may cast off the planet and look for it in a partner. This can make for emptiness in the native. In the case of Venus, one may need a partner in order to feel self love.

With this placement, the native appears beautiful and gracious in her career and/or society in general. She may have a career in beauty, such as a model or clothes designer. If not, she will, likely, be a picture of beauty and grace.( This applies to men, as well as women)
