Well, I've got a progressed stellium in Leo now, with more planets to shift there from last few degrees of Cancer.

Story!! ... I was working the book tables at a new age kind of conference in late 1970s. The lecture was in session-- but I saw this man by himself (no one else present) browsing. I was tidying up some stacks when I felt this strong outside urge to go up to that man and ask him for a hug! He looked up at me, and a smile broke upon his face, he spread his arms and said a warm, "Sure!!!"

So we embrace, and then 'at the socially~allotted time' I started to pull back from him. But he wouldn't let me break. He moved one of his hands up to the back of my neck, and I felt this hot ball of energy surge up my spine of upper back and it was almost like I wanted to gag. I "realized" that this was a wad of tears I had in me that I had never cried.

He spoke gently. Told ME I was a good hugger and kindly-politely said that I had just inspired his next book: on hugging!!!

One of my coworkers came up to me later, and said Do you know who that was?? Then she told me (he was one of the important speakers at the conference--- and part of his talk was ABOUT "hugging").

I mean, Isn't THAT COOL? Had I known that about him, I would have never had the nerve to impose.

So that's my "hugging" story! And, I'm definitely a Good Hugger ... {{{ }}}

Well with Leo ruling the 5th and sun and also being a fire sign known for romance and grand gestures of love I can see why my experiences with them have been very positive in the hug department ..they must show and express...

But the moon if compatible with yours could take that sun Leo hug to another dimension like with my best friend from childhood David he is a Leo with venus in Virgo and we have a sun and Venus double whammy and his moon conjuncts mine and opposes my sun tightly. I love hugging him..I know him since I was born, he was my next Door neighbor for 10 years..

On the other hand one of my Leo kid clients has moon Gemini and Venus Leo which conjuncts exact my vertex and priapus and by 2d my valentine. She gives me real nice unexpected big hugs when I arrive and I don't even see it coming, I can feel she is using her entire little heart at that moment.

I've felt the need to hug random people but never gave in. I mean RANDOM people, maybe their backs are arched a certain way or it's something about their body heat, my hand just goes up to start rubbing their backs and I stop myself.

Who knows, maybe if I knew them, we would have a mutually-healing relationship, and something in me responds to that potential.

As for the best hugs...not sure, never really thought about it...no complaints about my Leo husband's hugs though.
