I have a 12th house Mars and am very familiar with how that operates. I have a friend with Pluto in the 12th, though, and I'm wondering what the differences are between the expression of 12th house Mars energy vs. 12th house Pluto energy.

Since Pluto is the higher octave of Mars, are there basic similarities in how they act in the 12th?

Mars would affect assertion like if someone did you wrong, it may be hard to stand up and push back.

Pluto is primal power. That person could repress impulses in the realms of both sexuality and other passions.

One could see them as similar but the nature of each planet is quite different.

Think of all your primal passions, that is Pluto.

Think of drive, assertion and standing up for yourself, that is Mars.
