Attraction does not care about age. With any placements. In my opinion. But coming from a Cap moon myself, my partner would have to be a pretty matured soul, I feel.

Moon in Capricorn guys go for women who dote on them and make them look powerful or increase their status in some way. Blech.

I can vouch for that. 2 men I know with Capricorn Moons have each dated women older than themselves (even just 2-3 years). Can't say if this is a rule or a coincidence but my feeling is like someone mentioned above they at least have to be mature. I think they like having someone to learn from or "show them the way" when they aren't sure what path to take. A strong hand is needed with these ones I feel.

How do you feel about the 19 y.o., hyp? As a Capricorn moon--female--i think it would be super difficult/impossible/highly unlikely for me to date anybody who seemed/felt younger than me...

Well now there are two 19 year old guys hitting on me, one is a Venus and Mars cap and the other a moon in cap conjunct Saturn..

To answer your question Y I can only get with 25 and up personally..19 is too young.

My ex lover who is three years younger than me had Venus conjunct Saturn! I am seeing a pattern here....

I do have Juno in the 5th opposite Saturn...

Well, I date a Moon in Capricorn and I am a year older than him. As far as I know, I do not seem to be the type that they tend to go for. Then again, I don't know much about this placement. All I know is my Taurus Sun is in love with it.

As a moon cap female usually drawn to men with strong cap placements and my experience I'd say it could become a pattern, but only because they are attracted to a matured soul as previously mentioned here. Also someone with a passion they share (e.g. certain type of music, art, sport etc.) and wise about where they are now and where they wanna be in the foreseeable future. Someone who looks realiable and thrustworthy is best! And with manners.
Juvenile/ rash/ irrational behaviour is defo a turn off!

I think the key word here is "maturity". No so much age per se.

Capricorn placements(including Saturn conjunct)have this thing about "stabilizing" their lives so that they can be rest assured that the future is less unpredictable.

In many ways like Cancer and Taurus, Capricorn has a fear of the unknown.

My attraction to older, wiser and mature people is to ease the anxiety that surrounds what will be within the relationship.

In many ways, I act very Cap-like in relationships(Venus/Saturn conjunct in Scorpio); taking on the paternal role often, being the one "in charge" ,leading the relationship towards its maturity phase etc.

Of course, this is not always a rip-roaring success. At times my Moon/Mars square aspect just jolts me out of that consistency and wants to do its own thing

My Dad has Moon in Cap conjunct Saturn. And I suspect that he was very drawn to my Mom because of her mature, wise and stable disposition.

My mother albeit having a Sag Sun,also has Taurus Moon/Venus in Cap conjunct Saturn/ Moon trine Pluto in Virgo. So she is one down to earth person.

Despite having this natal conjunct,I don't think of my father as particularly "mature" or "wise". As these are the qualities that this placement tends to confer upon one.

But I do think that he projected these qualities to someone else(perhaps he has Gem/Cancer rising? hmm). Someone with whom he could settle down with and marry so that "they" take care of all the mundane aspects of the relationship.

That they be the "responsible" one etc. because he couldn't see himself fulfilling that role.

I know another with Saturn conjunct Sun. And although this is not a Moon placement, I still see similarities.

He doesn't scream "responsible". In fact, he appears quite Neptune-like in his approach.

But I do see that he tends to be drawn to the serious, stern types. Those who either have Cap Moon, Cap Sun or Saturn sitting on the personal planets.

It just seems that big age gaps typically involve Saturn placements but that obviously doesn't mean that every person with Saturn placements gets involved in relationships with big age gaps as that is not the norm to start with.

However I agree that is a maturity thing as well.

Like my best friend is dating a moon in cap guy who is 11 years older than her but she is very mature so I could see that his moon in cap is very attracted to that about her among other things. I am 32 and feel super comfortable with her, she is 25 and has cap rising with saturn in the 1st too, she is very mature.

Everyone here makes great points, especially inclined to agree with Hanna in particular.

Oftentimes, opposites attract. I feel this is especially true for Capricorn moon men, as they very much embody classical, stoic masculinity and would do well with a gendered complement. Hell, off the top of my head I can think of a bunch of "masculine" archetypes with this moon in particular - George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Burt Lancaster, Michael Douglas, James Gandolfini.. etc. See the pattern?

This is a sign that (secretly) loves affection. Soppy, adoring, public displays of total gooey affection. Will this sign dole it out in equal measure? Absolutely not. However, you have to be okay with the fact their affection will present itself in more "inward" and reserved ways. Because of this, I honestly believe a Cancerian-type woman is ideal for this kind of guy.

I don't believe that because a guy has a Capricorn moon, that makes them more prone to a mature partner. Honestly, this placement comes with a lot of self loathing, and they would do well to have a more carefree, devil-may-care, goofy sort of partner to temper the Saturnine nature. This is doubly so if this Cap moon has a Sag ASC that you know of. They'd definitely be more prone to younger partners. Hell, all the Cap moons I know always date younger, truth be told. Sometimes to the point where it's uh, very intergenerational (for example: Amal is 17 years younger than George, Angelina is 12 years younger than Brad, Catherine is 25 years younger than Michael)

This. I'm not a guy but I think this paragraph represents me 100% (except for a "manly part" although I can be a tomboy sometimes.). Most of my boyfriends have been younger (last boyfriend was 10 years younger, the rest were 3-4 years younger).

My longest relationship was with an Aqua/Gem that, though younger, was very mature, much more than I was/am. When we broke up, I felt "liberated". At first I did like it that he was mature but it ended up suffocating me because he lacked the playful/spontaneous side that I need and crave.

Interesting so you are a female moon in cap who dates much younger guys..

It seems there is an age gap theme one way or another..

Ryan gosling has moon in cap.

Makes 2 of us, but I do have a strong Sag stellium. It's a walking contradiction for me, haha, I like young/younger looking guys, but also a matured and reliable character..

My husband is a MAN child and cracks me up daily (libra sun, venus leo, moon cancer), I have never liked mature serious men and love guys who are very in touch with their inner child, are playful and joke around, I like to joke around too.

I went out on a date with a guy that took me on a small airplane ride and I was impressed that he took me out in a date like that but he was very serious and stoic, totally out of touch with his inner child so even though he was cute and I liked his date idea I couldn't go out with him again, I was surprised with myself and my dad broke it down and said you are very in touch with your inner child and need someone similar.

I DONT have MOON in CAPRICORN though, so I just don't see that attraction towards a fun light partner has to do with having moon in cap.

Interestingly my Ex 5th house ruler is Saturn and my husband has Saturn in the 5th so I guess they like that Leo energy (me) BUT I know as a fact that both have been involved with women older than themselves too though and they value maturity...! I think their type is a mature women, responsible with goals but who is also child like, playful and needs to be taken care of in some ways and spoiled; child like in some ways and mature in others...

I have venus and mars in Leo and sag rising with sun virgo in the 9th conjunct MC.

However romance and falling in love requires you to be in touch with your inner child so that is an attractive trait period that everyone is drawn to but too much immaturity is unattractive too so I think is safe to say we all look for that balance between child like traits and maturity in a partner as ideally we want to be functional adults that live in a state of wonder.

^ I suppose that is my juno in the 5th aspecting saturn speaking maybe..

The guys I know with this Moon, including my ex, are attracted to women who have it all 'together' career-wise and are high achievers.
Interestingly, they're not always high achievers themselves (unlike Capricorn Sun or Mars).

It really depends on the man's Sun and Mars though.
A Leo Sun/Mars - with Capricorn Moon will still be very competitive and ambitious, due to the Leo placements.
But a softer Sun/Mars - with the Cap Moon... could be pretty feminine and interested in women who play a more traditionally masculine (Saturninan, "provider") role - in the relationship.
