Hello dears, in all the information you can read up about progressed moon, it always says that the effect of an aspect can be felt one month prior and one month after the aspect was exact. However, I've been doing some research into my progressed moon and found that life events occured almost exactly two months after a certain aspect was exact. Sometimes, but not all the time the initiative to make certain events happen fell into moment when the aspect was exact. Like that time I applied for a trainee position when progressed moon was on my IC. Then when I got it and moved to a new town for it two months later, there was no aspect. But very often, there wasn't an event when the aspect was exact, but just that something happened exactly two months later. Like it needed that time to actually manifest the energy. I found this quite interesting... so, has anyone else ever looked at their lives in such detail and found a pattern to match aspects the progressed moon made? I was quite excited about this find because the progressed moon just went over my MC in mid September - nothing happened around that time, but then again I had loads of talks and made loads of contacts concerning a new business I started last year. So I'm hoping that something will happen in the next couple of weeks to give me a boost. Interestingly, this business seems to be the end of the road I embarked on at the time the Moon was on my IC. Seeing since progressed Sun is only one degree away from Jupiter... I have high hopes :-) Would be interesting to hear about your experiences with progressed moon..... IP: Logged |

I felt my progressed moon switch from Cap to Aqua pretty much immediately. At least, I think that's what it was. I felt so free; gained clarity over myself and suddenly stopped worrying about like, everything. I have noticed that general transits seem to affect me the most way *before* they become exact, and many times before they even technically start. So by the time an aspect gets to exact, that entire issue has long been dealt with, like a finished piece of art or something.

That's very interesting.... so indeed there doesn't seem to be a general rule for effectiveness. The manifestation seems to work differently in each life. Maybe it has to do with a general "life energy" one has? I have a lot of Aquarius in my chart, so that can't be it, lol... but I am Taurus rising and have a moon-saturn conjunction in Cancer. Those are signs and constellations I would consider rather slow or rigid. With transits, they seem to affect me either right on the spot or in the aftermath. But when it is the latter, it's probably because I did something at the time the transit was exact which seemed to have little significance, then but later on led to important changes. How about slow and recurring transits like Pluto going back and forth over another planet. How does it manifest for you? IP: Logged |

Yeah I'd agree with about two months. That's how it's been for me. IP: Logged |

That's an interesting point! I think my life energy is mostly fire and mutable, so it makes sense that I would feel the effects of transits very quickly. Also, since mutability thrives on change, maybe the way a transit manifests as 'exact' is the point at which everything has already changed for the mutable person. Transits with slower-moving planets are the same for me as well: by the time I've read the interpretation and before the transit is exact, it already seems like a thing of the past. And once it is exact, it feels 'over,' or like I'm at peace with the issues involved. It's the point where I start rolling with the new energy. That's the general feeling I've noticed with all transits. IP: Logged | |
