Mine is 4th House and I am not sure which House I would change to, if any. I am thinking about it.I thought about this subject, as I see people who suffer with different things than I do. I think we all think we have it the worst, in a way. That is because we know our own pain and it hurts! Anyway, I would love the thoughts of the greatest people on the web ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

My Chiron is in the 10th, widely conjunct my Midheaven 6°. I obviously don't like it there, 'cause none of us like our Chiron anywhere. I've learned to live with it, though, so I really wouldn't want to move it. Since this is a what-if game, though, I'd shift it over into my 9th if I had to move it. I've already lived through my Progressed Chiron going through my Progressed 9th house, and I didn't like that, either, but I didn't dislike it as much as being in my 10th. I have to say, though, that since my Progressed Chiron has moved into my Progressed 8th house, it feels FAR WORSE than what I felt in my 10th or 9th, so my heart goes out to you all who have that one natally. You have my complete empathy for life. IP: Logged |

Natal Chiron in house 5,and I would put in house 7 or 12. 7 because everyone experiences pain in relationships, even if they don't have that placement. So it seems that it doesn't really have much more negative effect than in the other houses. I feel like there's also a lot of potential for actual, "concrete" healing in this house, through relating to another. House 12 because it doesn't seem to be that debilitating. I haven't known many people with that placement (actually I can only think of one person) but it just doesn't strike me as a distressing placement at all... I mean, sure, feeling disconnected from God/the Universe can feel terrible, but who doesn't feel that way at times (or most of the time, even)? Besides, apparently this placement can give some nice gifts, like compassion, empathy, etc. Those sound good to me. (But I admit I don't have a super good understanding of how Chiron in the 12H plays out, so my view is possibly biased.)

7th (barely) I don't know if this counts as following the idea of the thread but I'd actually leave it there. For similar reasons that Doux pointed out AND I've finally gotten used to it! I can handle 7th. IP: Logged |

YES DouxI have noticed that about House 12, too, and wondered about it. My guess is that it IS debilitating but it is hidden to the person. What you don't know won't hurt you lol Just kidding but it is interesting that you noted this, too. I wonder if I would retain my own pain(4th House) lol I would not want 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th(illness and I am a hypochondriac), 7th, 8th( really, really hard akin to 5th), 9th(God), 10th( career and father), 11th( hopes and dreams)
That is it. I will stick with 4th ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I have Chiron in the 9th. Most people have stated I have a wound with God or religion which isn't true at all. Now I see that I am upset because I didn't get my PhD like I wanted to and now I feel that I should have stayed in school.
But its really not that big of a wound. I can think of other things in my chart that are worse than Chiron. IP: Logged |

Yes, Ami!I agree with you. We'd have to "interview" some people with a 12H Chiron and see what they make of it. IP: Logged |

Pinning the eviction notice on the 5th house without even blinking. As long as it's not a social/public or relationship house I'll take it. You know what, just delete my whole chart. Unbirth me.

If I put it conjunct Saturn, would it "restrict" my "wound"? Would conjunct Jupiter "expand" my wound or make my pain "lucky"? Hmmmm...Maybe conjunct my SN to spur me on to my NN. It would be conjunct Ceres there which might make it serve the "healer" part of Chiron... IP: Logged |

GREAT question Jupiter seems to make Chiron worse. Some people were talking on here that it made it better, but that is not my experience. Jupiter enlarges what it touches, for better or worse Saturn conj CHiron may make it very hard to express your Chiron and hence make it worse due to being self critical about your pain etc That is my experience with this, anyway. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I hate my chiron in 3th house because... quote:
Some with this placement feel that they cannot express what they truly feel because they don’t know how to put it into words or they feel they won’t be listened to.
100% me! Absolutely hate this POSITION. IP: Logged |

That is super interesting, Angel. I have had many dreams come true and I have been blessed in this. My pain was my mother and abuse, as most people know on here--4th House Chiron. This is just interesting. She has Aqua Sun with an EXACT combust to Mercury and this big nasty ball conjuncts my Chiron, exact! ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Maybe someplace with a nice trine to it then? Some way to mitigate the pain or make it serve a greater good. I've seen a T with Chiron opposite Moon square Venus. There's just not enough love in the world to fix that one. I've spent three decades trying... IP: Logged |

I have Chiron in my first house. Ascendant is at 15 degrees Gemini, Chiron at 29 degrees Gemini (retrograde as well). I think this has attributed to me being underestimated often throughout my life. First impressions are not my strong point. I was also illiterate and didn't speak English my first couple years of grade school. Now I write lyrics and sing in English, haha. I think with Chiron in Gemini, the goal in life is to overcome difficulties with expression and communication. I think I did that. IP: Logged |
