Let’s talk about what Uranus does when it opposes the Ascendant, which would make it conjunct the Descendant.

First of all, that which conjuncts the DSC we may cast off in OURSELVES and look to find in others.

Hence, this native may not accept his own weird side( and we all have one)

This native may feel oppressed by the sides of him which do not measure up to socially accepted standards( and we all have them)

Hence, to put it simply, the problem may be an emotional disconnection with his inner weirdo.

To make this practical, the native may not want to RISK appearing different than the norm.

When I think of Uranus I think of Ali G. He puts himself out there and plays it to the limit.

That is a good picture of Uranus.

Of course, most of us will never have the boldness and confidence of an Ali G, but people differ in their ability to show their inner weirdo.

I think that is one crux of this aspect.
