This is something that I experiences for a few months when I was 19 years old... I was kicked out of my house and was left to sleep around in all sorts of sketchy circumstances with sketchy people, mostly older men. They would give me drugs, which I honestly gladly took, because it was hard to be in those environments sober...

One day, one of the men convinced me that it would be safer to shoot up. He told me that my body would actually tolerate it better because it would be a smaller amount, etc etc. I remember that it made sense to me at the time, and although I was nervous, I allowed it to happen.I never once did it to myself, but it continued for a few months and all different men, would do it for me. One actually forcefully injected me with a exceedingly large amount, where I really thought I was going to die.

One day, a few months in, I took some LSD. I immediately thought "WTF AM I DOING TO MY BODY?" and that was that. I never injected heroin or meth again.

I don't really talk about this, it is hard for people to hear. I just want to understand how this happened and why so that I make sure I never do it again. I am, generally speaking, pretty damn open-minded towards substances, meaning that I never really believed that they were "bad". Sometimes I can trick myself into hurting myself quite easily...

Was thinking maybe viewing this from an astrological perspective could help me gain some insight? Maybe know what transits to watch out for? Or see what subconscious qualities of mine may need addressing?

With Saturn in my 6th house now, I stopped spending money on ciggs, with the occasional loop holes of getting my nicotine fix w/o spending money on them.

I tried LSD in September. It was a pretty good time. I would do it again on a vacation or getaway, with the right people and circumstances. Not when I have any responsibilities or have to drive.

Looking at cafe and the transits of the date I first tried it.

Im not a Pisces but it is my dominant sign..because of my two Pisces planets being so heavily aspected. Pisces 5th house. Neptune conj Sun, too.

I was also into drug use around the same age. I never shot up, but getting ****** up was the only thing I cared about.

Neptune trine Midheaven orb -1°02'
Neptune sextile Pluto orb -4°12'
Sun sextile Neptune orb -5°14'
Venus square Neptune orb -6°45'
Mercury sextile Neptune orb -5°20'

I was wondering if maybe having an 8th house venus could signal getting "pleasure" from 8th house type things?

Your chart at that time frame shows Nessus transiting DSC. So that could be looking towards others for abuse.
RxChiron transit conjunct sacred degree urging you toward that spiritual bliss connection.
Several planets in transit crossing over house cusps trigger "last chance" type of experience to energies.

Yep, that sounds like me. So much neptunian and uranian energy. I've never hurt anyone in my life, but have found myself in situations where I'm surrounded by murderers. I have a habit of not being able to really see the negative sides of people, or I guess I do see them.. but I know it isn't really them. I remember being 19, in Tijuana. My boyfriend left me alone with this cartel member. I was high on meth doing yoga and reading his natal chart... The cartel member actually ended up crying at his reading, lol. I remember telling him, "Malo, you are not a bad person! You have done bad things, but it's because you feel so deeply and have an impulsivity" then he just starts BAWLING!

Anyways, even with all the hard drugs, I was STILL obsessed with yoga, meditation, etc... It was weird.. I guess I justified it by thinking I could explore the depths of my consciousness. Plus, I wanted to understand the experiences of the people I was hanging around...

Not to offend Leo's but the correlation I have found here is that addictions can be extremely selfish as they aren't thinking how they are affecting others and Leo/Ascendant both rule the self, the ego, the identity. I think people who suffer from hard addiction, a lot of them have identity issues/crises. Don't know who they are or why they are here to an extent that causes a crises in their personality/identity, which they choose to either escape or seek refuge from through drugs.
