I'd guess that the sun person may find some similarities in the asc person's way of expressing/carrying/presenting themselves. Kind of like "you remind me a little of myself". It may not lead to attraction though. For me, it's a hit and miss. I'm a cap sun, my s.o is cap asc and I find "the way he is" immensely attractive, but I suppose it's mostly because his asc conj my natal asc/venus conjunction, plus our sun/moon opposition gives the friction I desire. I've met other cap asc and haven't felt strongly about them. IP: Logged |

As a Scorpio ASC,No-one ever gravitates towards me unless they are super attracted or they are self confident haha. (If I don't initiate).
I notice alot of people who come to me usually have something in Scorpio. (One guy with Scorpio Sun/Merc/Mars; another with Scorpio Mars; 2 girls with Scorpio Sun) I think they must 'feel' something in your expression or appearance which makes them want to get to know you. Sun goes to ASC. ------------------

Well.
I'm Libra asc with Pluto conjunct.
I've attracted a few Libra sun with Scorpio Venus and they were all very attracted.
I've always thought it interesting that it's that particular combination. Seriously, it's like a magnet. IP: Logged |

Hmm...I think so. You have to keep in mind you wont ever know how many people think youre attractive because most people keep that to themselves unless they straight up approach you and tell you.I have Scorpio ASC...my boyfriend is a Scorpio Sun so obviously he is attracted. Ive attracted a few Scorp men. But I also have Venus in Scorp conj ASC so i really think she plays a big part for me when enticing men..not convinced its ONLY the asc.. What I tend to attract the most with Scorpios are Scorpio MOONS and MARS. IP: Logged |

From my experience, not usually. Although the obvious exception is my husband, whose Leo Sun is conjunct my Leo Asc.  I inadvertently attract A LOT of Leos, but they're usually family members, friends, etc. There's often a general, mutual irritation between us, mixed with some sort of loyalty (I say "some sort of loyalty", because it can range from "we're related, so even though we irritate the f**k out of each other, we still love each other" to "you're dating my best friend, so we will put up with each other" to "we're friends, we have each other's backs"). Sometimes, great friendships. Mostly that's it, though. My husband and I knew basically the moment we met, but so far that's the only sincere attraction that comes to mind.
I've dated a couple of Leos, but it seems like it was either very karmic and irritating (that was one long, drawn out "relationship" that I'm speaking of, where we took turns trying to rescue the other person and push the relationship on each other), or very brief, like we shouldn't have ever really tried to go down that road to begin with. Leo risingDo Leos find me particularly attractive?  Probably not, because I'm average looking. However, they do seem to like my energy. I can be pretty vivacious and fun, I laugh a lot and enjoy long, upbeat, intelligent conversations. *daydreams* I have good memories of flirting with Leos and having them flirt back....of course I've dated them, too...and married one. Libra Suns find me particularly engaging - but those with Libra Marses (wow, what a word) find me attractive. Venus/Moon can also contribute to this, but it isn't solely relevant to attraction. IP: Logged |

Pisces Suns tend to want to be friends with me...I'm not sure attracted would be accurate.More like they're intrigued. I feel at ease with their Sun on my ASC. Very nice aspect.

I'm a Gem Sun/Mercury/Venus with Virgo rising and while I attract Virgoans as friends, people who have expressed an attraction to my appearance or who seem otherwise "particularly attracted" to me have mostly been Libra or Aquas. At least these are the ones I am aware of--Virgos can be pretty quiet and shy, you know? I may have not noticed them.  On the flip side, I have been quite attracted to Gemini rising people before. I actually just had a Gemini tell me I'm really pretty, but I rarely ever meet any Geminis honestly. Gemini influenced people yes, but not Gem suns. Fire and water signs are most attracted to me. Gem ASC

Leo ascendant here! I have a few leos who are into me, but I wouldn't say they are at the top of the signs that approach me... I think my sun sign draws in more... (Pisces sun). Most scorpions, cancers, taureans seem to be into me.IP: Logged |

I have more friends that are Sun same sign Asc.Partners tend to have their Sun in my second house, sometimes 3rd house... 3rd house tends to feel more friendshippy and second feels more committed. Second house is part Scorpio and I have Pluto close conjunct AC so I assume that's why... ------------------

I think you'd have to have a conjunction (around a 5 degree orb).
Or at least - have the Sun & AC in the same decan of the sign. It would probably also be best if the conjunction came from your 1st house, not your 12th. -- My Ascendant is at 29'59 Gemini. Five minutes later it goes to 00'01 Cancer.
Those with personal planets closely conjunct my Ascendant are usually physically attracted to me (whether the planet is in Gemini or in Cancer). IP: Logged |
