I was wondering, is having a lot of planets in the first house likely to make a person a huge egoist? I mean if a lot of planets were in tenth - maybe there would be a lot of happenings in a person's career; or lots of planets in fifth would mean a lot of romances. So would a lot of planets in first, meaning a lack of planets elsewhere, make a person likely to be self-focused, perhaps even one dimensional? I mean, is there any real benefit to a first house stellium?IP: Logged |

Bump!I was wondering about this too! I recently looked at one guys natal chart at work and most of his planets were in the first house. I didn't know how to describe it to him. The only thing that I have read somewhere is that these people find it difficult to relate to others, but I don't know if this is true or not. IP: Logged |

1st house stelliums do lead to a focus on the self - what others think of you, how others perceive you, etc. it can manifest as a big ego, or a concentration on the physical appearance and clothes/hair/makeup, or in wanting everyone to like you. it can also be challenging because with so much focus on the self, 1st house stelliums can lack some of the needed energy to be thoughtful and considerate of others, or to be thoughtful partners. the benefits are self-awareness, which is always a good thing. and people w/many 1st house planets are very very genuine people; they cannot mask or hide themselves the way others can. 1st house stellium people are usually very well-liked by others. a 1st house stellium person doesn't have pretense and what you see is what you get, so they can rarely hide much about themselves, which is good for potential friends and partners. Hmm my friend has sun mercury venus and mars in the 1H. She stares at herself a lot if there's a mirror in sight, even if in the middle of talking. She can relate to others and is friendly but sometimes I do wonder what her real intentions are. I read people very well and I can tell she gets off people checking her out. She is very open though!IP: Logged |

It makes peoples very self-centered or self-driven.It's all about me!!! However I think some people feel the intensity of the energy, especially if the Sun is there and can be overbearing because it feels like a massive spotlight on you at all times. ------------------ Beginners Guide to Astrology IP: Logged |
