Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it in America. I know other countries celebrate it other days. I thought it'd be festive and fun to delineate the chart of the 1st ever Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I'm not that well-versed on the history of Thanksgiving or the parade, but I do know some things; please add more if you know a lot about the history of it. The reason I'm not doing the astrology of the first ever American Thanksgiving is because the exact day of the first Thanksgiving is apparently controversial since some say it was in 1621 and others say 1623.The History channel says the first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade started on Thursday, November 27th, 1924 at 9am sharp in New York City.

The Capricorn Ascendant at 0 degrees shows a new beginning and almost always signifies the beginning of an important event. The 1st house and Cappy are both a cardinal sign and cardinal house, so I think the first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade creators were very focused on making sure the parade went off without a hitch and worked extremely hard to make that happen.
The Part Of Fortune in the first shows the parade was blessed and lucky when they started at 9am that day.
Sun & Moon in Sag show that the parade was fun, lively and extravagant. Sag's ruler Jupiter is even conjunct the Ascendant showing the parade to be blessed by luck and to be over the top in a good way.
Cappy's ruler Saturn is strong in the 11th house. The 5th house of fun is Taurus whose ruler Venus is in the 11th at 0 degrees but in detriment. Venus at 0 Scorpio Sabian Symbol is a crowded sightseeing bus on a city street which is in line with the crowds of people watching the parade along the city streets. Venus and Saturn in the 11th Scorpio shows that the parade was enjoyed by groups of people and was organized and stable but also fun.
