It seems to be a VERY sensitive point for me, especially when Mars goes over it, which leads me to believe that maybe midpoints are more easily activated when one of the two planets involved in the midpoint passes over it...what do you guys think?

For me, this midpoint sits right on my IC, which is already sensitive seeing as it is an angle. The last time Mars was on this midpoint (and my IC) my ex got extremely drunk and became very abusive to me...kept me up all night screaming and saying horrible things, pushing me around, etc. I was afraid of him. This night ultimately led to me leaving him.

Yesterday it was one degree away from my IC, and I found out he has gone public with a "girlfriend" while we are still legally married. I've known he's dated other people since we've been separated, but for some reason him going public with this girl REALLY bothers me. It's been a highly emotional 24 hours.

I've heard that Mars/Neptune aspects by natal or transit can lead to disappintment by the men in your life, and this has been very true for me with this midpoint.

The midpoint could have a similar meaning when activated in the synastry.

I don't envy her predicament, but I can't help but feel jealous. Venus/Pluto opposition at play lol. I don't want him but I don't want him to be with anyone else. That's a whole 'nother topic. We also have composite Pluto conjunct DSC.
