Can someone provide some insight/ personal experience to this combination of a person?

I find them very difficult to understand because how they come off and who they are seems to be completely opposite in energies.

Anyone with a Scorpio / Aquarius mix in Sun, Moon or Ascendant is a bit odd anyway. But my ex had the placements you mentioned. He was occasionally moody, sexually unrestrained, fixed in his ways and emotionally remote. On the positive he was driven and occasionally passionate, mature in his attitude and with a strong sense of morals. These people are difficult, but very loyal.

I knew someone with the opposite...Scorpio sun Aquarius ascendant. He was suuuuuuper clingy with me and just odd in every way. He was super hipster and one of those people who do the whole beard thing. But he was grossly conservative (Donald Trump level). He had a huge thing for me and would vacillate between obsessing over me and pulling back just to see how I would react. The second I showed him some attention he would get clingy again. Our friendship ended because he told me he doesn't think women should have the right to vote.

I feel that anyone with prominent Aquarius wants to be different for the sake of being different. And since Scorpio is taboo I think they would say and do things/have beliefs just for shock value. It's a rough combination for them and those around them as well.

My BF is a Scorpio Sun and a late Aqua rising. Weird? Yes. In fact, he sees himself as definitely "out of the ordinary" type of person. He is nerdy, but it is a refined nerdyness. He dresses well, (I'm a Libra so I think I have an idea or two of 'dressing well' hah) and he has a good sense of moral/values. He does like to "push the envelope" from time to time and admits to saying things just to see how people would react. In fact, I do the same too. Guilty as charged!

He likes to jokingly say "I'm such a woman!" since he is affectionate, loving, and wants the same attention back. He does also have a Leo moon, so that can explain some of that clingy-ness as well. He is very emotional since he has a T-square between Mars, Pluto and Moon. I dare say that he has a lot more emotional depth than I do..and I can sense it/see it.

His Aqua rising meshes well with My Libra sun.

My Scorpio rising goes well with his Scorpio sun.

I guess that's part of the reason why we can see "eye-to-eye". Not to mention, I have Uranus sextile Sun, tight, natally.

Don't try to fit them into a box'd up description. They don't take kindly to that. Let them be this outer-worldly being!

PS - be prepared for some aloof withdrawals. I guess it's good to be able to be objective when dealing with them sometimes instead of being subjective. There's gotta be a certain type of versatility when dealing with these oddballs!
