This is not interpersonal, because I'm not actually involved with this person anymore, this is just going on in my brain....*** I frequently have extremely vivid, realistic dreams. Everyone close to me teases me about it; I have epic journeys with the people I love most in my dreams haha. So, I normally don't take too much of what I dream to heart. I've never had one come true - they just frequently reflect my present state of mind.
Which is why this is a little odd, and I want to post about it. My ex and I dated for 4 years, and everyone (except for me) thought we would get married. It was the classic something-was-missing scenario. We also had issues as a couple, but in the end, I think our break up talk just went like this: "I don't think you're the one." (He said this to me. I had already thought it all throughout.) That was over 3 years ago now. Now, I'm 2 years in with the man who made NO sense in the beginning as future material, but I've always felt was my soul mate. He and I easily talk about future, and in general everything has been happy and confident for a long time now. The ex and I have talked a lot over the past year - he had some trouble over the summer and when we met in the fall, he wanted another chance and claimed he thought he was going to marry me. I turned him down, it was not a pleasant discussion but we made amends months ago. OKAY, for whatever reason, just this past two weeks, every single night, I have dreamed about my ex. These dreams aren't sexual or even romantic, but we are technically 'together' in them, just going about our daily lives. For some reason, whenever I wake up from them I genuinely feel like I've just hung out with him for hours - I even wake feeling guilty about it. What would cause this kind of thing, transit-wise???? I have moon transiting my 7th... could that be it? tNeptune is still (and has been) conjunct my natal Venus, tVenus and tMars are in my 8th, but there's nothing transiting my 12th right now, which I expected to see re: dreams. t Neptune is trining natal Pluto... maybe that? Just curious what is causing these.... IP: Logged |

If it's been going on for two weeks, it's not the transiting moon, Venus, or Mars. Sounds like tr Neptune on your Venus. Or something's being activated in synastry/composite/progressed composite...or it's beyond astrology. I have super realistic dreams about my one ex a few times per year, it really throws me off. I'm also a Capricorn. Maybe we store things longer. IP: Logged |

Interesting, faith, but the thing is tNeptune has very long transits, and has been transiting my Venus for over a year now, so I'm not sure why just these past two weeks I've been dreaming this. Very interesting tho.IP: Logged |

Ohhh tr Mars & Venus have been running through your 8th.Sorry, I was thinking of exact aspects to planets. Yes, planets can dredge up a lot from the 8th. Hopefully someone else has better input. IP: Logged |

That could be doing it right!??! THat's the only thing that really makes sense to me. I'm super curious about this bc it has been literally every single night over the past two weeks. Soo so strange. How long do Venus and Mars transits go for again?? THANK YOU! Appreciate your input Faith! =) IP: Logged |

At times I have dreams of long ago ex. It is always something with nodes. I always wake & do a few charts and save, so when/if it occurs again I can look at charts together. pname asteroids, yes, t pluto yes. Her pname and hypnos transiting node and pluto when we were together many years ago. Now I am thinking I should look at draconic. Suddenly realizing this is setting up another dream, ,,,, we were firsts,,, it never goes away I guess------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

Thank you, but I'm such an amateur ~ not sure how valuable my opinions are. I associate the 8H and Pluto with deeper dreaming just because of my own experiences. And it makes sense to me astrologically, that you bury the past in Scorpio/Pluto/8H and resurrect yourself from those ashes (transformational Scorpio stuff)...but it's all still there buried in your subconscious, or whatever the accurate term would be. With an accurate birth time you can check the degree of your 8H and 9H cusps. Then look at an ephemeris to see when planets enter and exit your 8H (reaching the 9H cusp.) Swiss Ephemeris for the year 2015 That shows you the degrees Mars and Venus (and the other planets) will cover in December. If the dreams suddenly stop when those planets leave your 8H, please let us know! For research purposes. IP: Logged |

Hm I discerned from this and realize why I have adventurous dreams. I always have. Its because I'm fire dominant. My dreams are kind of empty in meaning. Some people have weird, interesting and meaningful dreams. And I've always just gone on adventures with the people I love. I think its because I'm fire dominant. thats why, fire is the most adventurous sign and not much of thinkers or have as sensitive of feelings.

Well at least your soul may be getting an understanding of what it would be like if you got back together. Maybe he's dreaming about you as well. Now you'll have some idea to contrast and compare with your current S.O.

The 8th house is Scorpio (I believe anyway, you don't have to) which is a house of romance and deep thoughts among other stuffz. Water, by default, is not necessarily more romantic then any other sign, as far as I know. The thing that truly creates those strong romantic feelings and longings for intimacy is the fact that Scorpio (and the 8th, IMO) rules the genitals. Having a connection there would make one have romantic and sexual longings. You may be having an 8th house transit IP: Logged |

Since our psyche (mind, sense of self and awareness) is connected metaphysically more strongly to areas of the body which have planet(s) in a sign that rules those body parts, it is interesting to try to discern and map out what effected parts of the body (with planets) would have on the mind. I tried explaining it. I noticed Aries (myself, 1st house, IMO) can feel like they are located in their heads. That is where their sense of self is. I don't know what kind of feelings this creates in the psyche, but they are head strong i guess, even though I'm probably just saying that because its a word that uses the same word as head, which probably isn't even literally related, but whatever.
Taurus, well, now I'm just getting into bodily rulerships. And not direct effects on the psyche. I don't know how the body parts effect the psyche. Saggitarious is the thighs and butt so it supports your upper body, it is a great runner and climber and at squatting, if Saggitarious provides this much power for your body, people who have their psyche strongly connected to their thighs, may be mentally supportive, with their ideals, of themselves and others? To support, and improve, as like climbing? I really don't know. To know and understand that they have impressive abilities to instantly get up and run at their arsenal, would grant some confidence boost in any situation, but to take life by the heels with this placement, to be able to go headfirst into anything simply because their legs are so powerful, they would be relaxed in regular situations which is the lapses inbetween anticipated rigourous challenging exertment Sorry I just wanted to type this somewhere
