You don't need astrology for this. Tell the universe you want to know exactly the place on this planet that is in your sweet sport for happiness. Say it out loud and mean it for as long as you need to until you start getting repeated clear pointers. It will happen. This is what I did to go from Texas to Oregon in January 2009. My life went from s#!t to meeting my now wife within 3 weeks of getting here and finally having a life. YOU control this if you tap into your power. Tell the universe to make it so clear to you that there is no doubt and no delay. ------------------ Astrology & Natural Medicine blog IP: Logged |

AstroCartography may be a resource to check into. You can order a chart that correlates planets in your birth chart with locations globally. It comes with a booklet that describes the planetary influences prevalent in areas that interest you. IP: Logged |

First I want to say I agree with Kannon, put your heart and soul into just knowing where. Secondly I want expound on the response by Peony. From my own experience I will say that AstroCartography is valid. Geo-relocation using astrology is SOMETIMES useful. In another thread I saw your chart. You have a Venus and Jupiter conjunction. I do not know where you are located but is there some place you would consider moving that places that conjunction in a favorable position. Or does some place make a less favorable position for say Saturn or Pluto. If so is it a good tradeoff 'for you' Whether or not relocation astrology is useful in given situation can often depend on where a person might like to live or maybe just travel someday. If a person was NOT born with Pluto close to an angle then moving to a place where it is on angle might be too harsh or even dangerous for that person, or on the other hand maybe fitting if a professional kick boxer. When moving every where is new, but what the goal of the move is must be considered. Moving for a new work environment as a main goal is not the same as if a person has money in the bank, won't struggle to exist and is chasing romance. For example, My Mercury is 20 degrees above my ascendant. If I go to astro.com select my chart and click on astroclick travel and select North America I would see that in the flagstaff,Az/Las Vegas,Nv my Mercury would be close to the ascendant. Then doing a chart as if I had been born there I can also see how that shifts other parts of my chart.Be sure to adjust for timezone correctly. Communication would somehow be emphasized for me with that placement. Since my Mercury is in my 12 house in my chart perhaps there I might be better at expressing thoughts, writing a book. If I look at a world map I would see that although I was born on my Jupiter line, live on my Saturn live I would also see my Jupiter line on the other side of the planet intersecting a Neptune line in LLasa,Tibet. Jupiter = Big///Neptune = Dream , and sure enough long before I ever saw as astromap of my chart I dream of LLasa. Now of course wherever you go there 'YOU are, you will take yourself with you but how you will feel and interact in your new place can be seen 'somewhat' in doing a chart as if you were born there. Now it may be that a 4-500 mile move east or west makes very small changes visible, but there are places you would not want to go even if your Jupiter runs right through it, or you know you can't live in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where there is no island, lol. Thus such a tool and its info seems less useful. Still fun. Again, moreover , first use the tools you have inside you. It can be helpful if you move somewhere you know someone, naturally. ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

Thanks, Seimei, for elaborating on this! I lived in Brazil for a few years which is on a Pluto line and those were turbulent times under very difficult circumstances. In contrast, I now live on the West Coast of the U.S. on a Jupiter line and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. IP: Logged |

You'll get different opinions different astrologers. Therefore astrology is usually not useful in these things. It is best to assert your direct power in this: you with the universe. Keep verbalizing your request as I indicated until you get the results in the form of an obvious pattern in things people say to you, by the people you meet (where they are from), by synchronous things that point as if by an invisible hand to the locale. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Astrology & Natural Medicine blog IP: Logged |

There is no way anyone could faithfully work with such scant information. It is of very little value for short distance changes and I agree with Kannon. ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

I see. This will be really tough task. I actually want to move somewhere where I won't be far from home, but on the other hand, I'm not sure will that help me. I'm currently afraid of living far from home, because of unpleasant experiences in the recent past. I need to go abroad (for work and because I don't like my environment, but I'm scared at the same time. IP: Logged |

Queen SalomeOf course you are scared, it is completely normal to be scared, but I can tell you from my own experience that moving abroad is a great life experience which will teach you many great things. Just follow your heart and go for it. I have never regretted moving because I feel more at home in foreign countries than my own. Sun and Venus in 9th house Pisces IP: Logged |

Remove your 'want' from this. Remove the non-existent dilemma built by fear. Speak to the universe as I have done and indicated here -- without preferences, but with genuine desire to know. The universe wants us to be happy and fulfilled, and has no interest or stake in anything else, and will not give you anything you cannot handle. Then, once you have your answer, go there fearlessly. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Astrology & Natural Medicine blog IP: Logged |
