HEY guys, it's me!

Getting paranoid wondering if my birth time is really off.....

4 on the dot? Seems suspicious, lol.

Here is me supposed leo-liscious self, think it's accurate?
I definitely don't wear makeup or dress up very often.. or at all. I like to wear the same outfit until it smells lol... Is that leo-ladylike?
(virgo moon, pisces sun)

Here are my ascendant aspects too; (supposedly..)
Pluto square Ascendant orb +0°46'
Uranus bi-quintile Ascendant orb -0°42'
Mars sextile Ascendant orb +5°26'

Hopefully, I'm not wrong. Generally I can spot an Aquarious or a Leo.

You have the hairstyle of a typical leo, (look like a lion). Google Jennifer Lawrence's hair.

Hopefully, your hair isn't frizzy and curly.

Is your rising on a cusp?

yea you look like a cute lion...rawr!

judging from your picture it seems like you arent using that leo power as much as you should.
i sense a softness ...like a quiet lion type.. not too aggressive but taking action only when needed as opposed to just because.

just because someone looks a certain way doesn't necessarily mean that they have a certain ascendant. Most people actually look nothing like the physical descriptions of their ascendants. The aspects to your ascendant can make you look like another sign, and in some cases, having a stellium of planets in another sign can make you resemble that sign and not the sign on your ascendant.

Which is why I've never trusted or agreed with people trying to determine ascendants based on pictures. Most of the times I've seen people play guessing games about it, they actually got the ascendants wrong.

So yes OP its absolutely possible that you aren't a Leo rising.

Another thing is that the ascendant is just a mask, so it always perplexes me when people who have no actual planets in a certain sign (or the ruler of the sign on an angle) claim that sign because its their ascendant sign.

Im surprised that people do it with Leo particularly but its probably because Leo is trendy right now. when it isn't in style to try and claim Leo anymore, everyone with a Leo rising sign will be minimizing it and downplaying it LOL and insulting us Leo suns and moons, again .

ASC is just a mask in the regard that we look through it onto the world; it`s not so much a mask but your glasses which shape how (and in what areas) you experience the planets in signs / the world.
It`s actually much more individual than the Venus or Mars-sign.

It is what the world looked like to you when you were opening up your eyes for the first time (metaphorically speaking), your environment and surrounding, how people reacted to you being part of their world suddenly, and that of course shaped your expectations and how you approach the outer world yourself.

THAT is what the ASC is, not a mask that you can put on and put off again. If it is a mask, it is one glued to you that you can never put off.
---------------------

Oh and to stay on topic, while I also think that going by looks in terms of the rising sign can be heavily misleading, yes, you do look like (and more importantly give the vibration of) a Leo-ASC. At least how I experience or perceive them.

Well I did for a long time suspect my Mom was wrong about my birthtime, because come one: 7:07 a.m.? That just looks like playing with number doesn`t it?
But turned out years later it is the exact time written into my birthcertificate, too (and in Germany hospitals write down the birthtimes to the minute, at least for the last 40 years or so).

Plus this birthtime responds to any kind of prediction technique like clockwork. So I guess it must be right.

My advice would be to check outer planets transits or secondary progressions at very important times in your life and see if the angles respond to them (usually you will find a conjunction or square to or from the angle within just a few minutes of exactness; if not, your birthtime probably is off a few minutes)

Huh?

Leo ASCs are minimizing and downplaying Leo suns and moons?

Where?

I certainly never did. Quite the contrary.

You do seem Leo rising to me. It's more than structural, it's the vibe.

Me neither. I am a honorary (temporary ) Leo-Moon at the moment, and I guess it shows.

Feels very different to pr Moon in Cancer to be honest.

Actually I think they are all significant (angles, luminaries, even Venus and Mars), they show themselves clearly, though maybe a little differently.

I have 2 Taurus Asc females in my life, both look like how you described yourself. One is 5'8" and the other is 5'10". They are so slender that people tell them to eat something all the time, which is funny because they gorge out all day lol!

The Taurus Asc male on the other hand is very stocky built and only about 5'7"

In my case, yes!!!

The world was ecstatic to have me!! For one thing my parents had four boys and one girl, before I was born. They didn't know my gender. So they were thrilled to have another girl. Basically all the pictures of tiny me involve people smiling radiantly at me....because I was (and still am) a girl. That must've shaped me, gave me the lesson that I was festive, set me in motion to continue being festive. Just last night I was at a party and as I was leaving the people I had just met were regaling me with compliments as if I had been the life of the party. Well hello?...I was born to do that! hehehe you know I'm half-joking but half-not. (I hope no one is reading this besides you, Ceri, because you know how to take me. That's why I'm embedding it in a longish paragraph because people skip over long paragraphs.) (Especially when there are lots of parentheses. You can hide stuff in plain sight, with enough parentheses.)

Faith,

ROFL You crack me up, with the longish paragraph noone`s ever going to read, which might even be more impossible- if possible at all,- if not just writing a long paragraph but at best including a lot of looooong sentences, which hardly make sense at all, or if they do, you will have forgotten what the sentence started with, by the time you reached the end.
At least that is true for me, writing it.

Anyway yes, your description is a perfect example of what I mean!

I was born with a Sagittarius-ASC, as you know, with Neptune on that ASC and NN on the ASC as well.
I was from my first breath on being exposed to parents and a family who loved books, education, but more so in a broadish cultural social way, and who would discuss concepts for hours, highlighting the importance of being able to put myself into someone else`s shoes, to have compassion, to develop empathy, to "feel like they do", because that was a big thing, esp. for my Mom, not what the others think in terms of if something was appropriate or not,b ut to feel what they feel to develop understanding for the surrounding humanness and to not be hurtful towards anyone, not because they might strike back, but because other people had the same right to be here like we do.

Oh that and I was born with my umblicial chord round my neck, but luckily had raised my shoulder enough so no harm was being done, plus I think I had swallowed some of the water, and in fact did (almost) drown at the age of about 2 (when my ASC had progressed to Neptune ).

I read your longish paragraph though I'll admit, I often skim, sometimes past multiple posts and it's bitten me a time or two.

Darn it, the trick did not work.

But yes, I also admit, though I tend to write long paragraphs, I am less inclined to read them unless I am REALLY interested, and then they cannot be long enough.
