We all have a place of power. This would be the House in which Pluto resides. Pluto makes for tidal waves. Pluto makes for swings of ups and downs i.e upheavals.

Pluto is a wonderful powerhouse. However, we must learn many lessons and slay many dragons in the SPHERE of life represented by Pluto’s House. We must transform if we are to gain our power. If we learn our lessons, we CAN find our own personal power. If not, we will be impotent. Isn’t Pluto nice?

Pluto conjunct the ASC gives an authority feeling. Pluto in the 1st house does the same. This would be a wonderful placement for a policeman or a politician. People stand up and take notice when you walk in the room.

Pluto in the 2nd House gives a power in making money. There would, also, be a mastery over the material world.

Pluto in the 3rd House would make for a powerful communicator. Don’t expect the person to be politically correct. If you ask a question, you will get an honest answer, so don’t ask if you cannot handle it. Perhaps, Winston Churchill or Martin Luther King had it, here. If not, they could have.

Pluto in the 4th house may makes for an unstable, early home. This placement may make a mother who is overly dominant. If not, there may have been be great upheavals in the home.

Pluto in the 5th House may make for great ups and downs in romance. However, you would be a romantic powerhouse and may be charismatic.

Pluto in the 6th may make for ups and downs in either health or your everyday work life.

Pluto in the 7th may make for ups and downs in your committed relationships.

Pluto in the 8th may make for shake-ups in your own taboo nature. You may be forced to go very deeply into yourself in order to find your true identity

Pluto in the 9th may make shake ups in religion or in your location, such that you were forced to move far away from your birth place.

Pluto in the 10th may make your career life turbulent.

Pluto in the 11th may make you a mover and shaker in groups, but groups would shake you up, too.

Pluto in the 12th may make for have a secret sexual life, which you keep hidden.

Pluto in the 8th is wrong.

Issues with identity would be sun-related anyway I think. Maybe a hard aspect from the sun to Pluto, but Pluto in the 8th, no. I know who I am; people just don't like it.

Pluto in the 3rd here and wow... so true!

Honesty is paramount to me. And I actually do say, "If you don't want to know the truth, don't ask me." Looool. I also agree with the powerful communication part. My career is in motivation (through written materials). So bang on!

How would you write a little description of it?

Pluto in 8th is true for me. Maybe because it's retrograde and I keep looking at the spider on my navel?

Pluto in the 8th is in it's home, so it may be comfortable there.

Would love to hear from you all who have it and want to write a little blurb on it

I think it changes a lot when it's Rx.

Mine is conj Asc Rx and it simply makes people mistrust me when they shouldn't. Many people feel threatened by me immediately, and they're usually people who are up to no good, so I assume they can feel I see that about them and try to discredit me before they get outed.

This is interesting about Pluto Rx:

PLUTO RETROGRADE – turns its transformative energy even more deeply into the superconsciousness, bringing about an inner illumination long before you are able to give it expression in the outer world.

PLUTO RETROGRADE indicates a carry-over of psychic powers from previous lifetimes. These powers are to be used in constructive ways only. You will feel the struggle humanity is going through within yourself—humanity’s struggle is your struggle. You are aware of and feel responsible for lifting your conscious awareness so that the consciousness of humanity can be thereby lifted.

PLUTO RETROGRADE KARMA – A karmic debt is owned to humanity stemming from the age indicated by the sign in which PLUTO is located. This debt is to be paid through selfless service to humanity. Tremendous spiritual growth is possible; you have the opportunity to rise above the karma of the human race and step off the wheel of rebirth. PLUTO RETROGRADE joins NEPTUNE RETROGRADE in asking that you live in the world, while remaining separate from it.

PARENTS – you will need to understand the psychic powers your child may naturally demonstrate and strive not to stifle them. Instead, help your child use them for constructive purposes while making no big deal over them. They are natural for your child; treat your child as you would any other child.

1st house conjunct.

I'm not sure about the staring when I enter a room. I do find that many have trouble with eye contact though I never have trouble.
The biggest thing is that people say that I look mean.

I have it in the 3rd and while I do like to be honest I dont like to hurt people so I ofteb try to tell them the truth in a way that doesnt hurt? Maybe because I also have Jupiter in the 3rd that it softens a little bit its power or does it amplify it? I am for sure not a powerful communicator nor a tell the truth harshly :/

I can identify with not mincing words (H3 Pluto), especially if someone is going on about the same problem, but not taking steps to do anything about it, or if I believe that they're being delusional about a situation that they insist on telling me about/complaining about.

BUT... I often, at this time in my life, prefer to bite my tongue, especially if I can break through to a point of empathy for someone. If I've been in a similar position myself, or if a light suddenly gets turned on in my heart, and I think "OH...they think this way because ____________" then I will try to work with that empathy, as it does change one's perspective.

But...yeah, Pluto in H1. My dad has that, conjunct Asc and Saturn (both in H1).

He's a Libra Sun with Pisces Moon and Libra stellium, and while I believe that he attracts notice due to the fact that he's a generally pleasant, attractive, helpful person (I've noticed that women are attracted to him, and seen pictures of him when he was younger)... I've never found him to be particularly intimidating in any way, although he does make direct eye contact. But then, his Pisces Moon is also in H8 (our ACs are about 2* apart).

Anyway...that's my spiel.

Hi aah08, 3rd house pluto sister here I think the "powerful communicator" part also has to do with what sign is on the cusp of your 3rd. Mine is Virgo (ruled by Mercury) so communication is my life, lol. And while honesty is a necessity for me, I am very aware of the "delivery" and would never intentionally be harsh.

Hi!=) mine is in Scorpio, so maybe for me it means I am very private and I don't enjoy communication that much? Scorpio is a mistery after all. But yeah, I know the sign has a lot to do

^ My H3 Pluto is in Libra. But, it's also opposite my Venus, and trine my Mercury/Dsc. Sometimes I actually sputter a little bit, because what I have to say to people (in my head) is SO harsh that I am left grinding my teeth and rolling my eyes (which, unfortunately, is noticeable).

...

It's kind of like I have the choice of punching the person in the face (not really an option), telling them exactly what I think of them (which, when I get to that point, will not be kind in any sense of the word, and could have long-term repercussions), or just glaring at them. Lol. It depends on the situation, but I usually try to remove myself.

The ups and downs have not been big enough for me to notice.

But what I do like is intimate connection with my partners/close friends.

Pluto is where we want something real. We want the bare naked, soul-bearing truth.

And with Pluto in 7th, I find myself longing for really intense exchanges in relationships.

Relationships is the area of life where I want something real. Real intimacy, real coupling, real sharing etc.

You are very correct about Pluto in 10th being indicative of a turbulent(Pluto) career(10th).

I have Pluto transiting my 10th right now and there are emotional upheavals in my career directions.

It is an area of life where I am doing much soul-searching as I do want something "real" , in as far as that is concerned.

I hear people tell me; a job is a job is a job. It doesn't define you etc. But with Pluto transiting here, this area of life has been defining me
