What are examples of this aspect showing up in real life? I was at a party and asked the person if their parents had trouble getting along or were divorced (because I saw this aspect and more often that's what it's been in the past) and they said no. Other ideas?IP: Logged |

I have the opp. My parents have argued throughout their entire 35 year marriage! I was always in the middle :-/ As for me personally, it plays out in a way that I constantly have internal struggles between what I really want. I confuse people aground me all the time because they have no clue where they have me. Just when they think they have figured me out I do a switch-a-roo because something inside of me told me so. I have a Square of Sun and Moon. For me it meant, that my masculine and feminine energies are in a constant struggle. There was always a huge gap between what I want to achieve in life, as a form of self-realisation, and the building of a home. For example I wanted to make an academic career and there was potential for that. But after a while sitting at home alone and reading books I felt horrible and isolated. I became depressed and wished for a realtionship to build a family with. When I got together with someone, I felt bored to death and unhappy because I missed being part of an intellectual world. I have a complicated relationship to my mother. My Moon is conjunct her Moon - but she never gave an image about how to be a cool woman. She was a housewife and had no interest in most of the things I consider important. Identifying with my father was easy, because he was successful and always away on business. But I never understood why they are together anyway. They never talked and had nothing in common. I always wanted another form of a relationship with a man - but it's still difficult to figure it out! IP: Logged |

These people tend to be indecisive.People with Sun square Moon tend to have trouble expressing their true personality and have a lot of inner tension People with Sun opposite Moon tend to "swing" from going with head (Sun) or heart (Moon). Every sign axis has a common goal in mind. Say Cancer / Capricorn- these people would strive for security, but they might swing between providing emotional security (Cancer) and physical security (Capricorn). Sun square Moon usually has tension between the family, but I usually don't notice this between Sun opposite Moon unless there are many squares to the luminaries. IP: Logged |

I think they are contradictory people. I know someone who is Sun square Moon.In my case, my Sun and Moon don't make an aspect to each other. IP: Logged |
