Topic: Questions for earth sun, water moon people

A little survey, if you're up for it: 1) Do you go through life relying on your practical sun, trying to keep emotions reasonable? 2) Is it a serious challenge for you to listen to your heart and make big decisions based on gut feelings? 3) Have you ever trusted your gut feelings, against reason, and succeeded more than you expected to? 4) Have you avoided people who elicit too strong of an emotional reaction from you, even if it was a positive reaction? In other words, do you prefer stable relationships to exciting or intense relationships? 5) Do you often get the impression that people have no idea how emotional you are? Please state your sun, moon, and any aspects that help explain with your answers. Thank you  I have a 6H Capricorn sun sextile 8H Pisces moon. Will answer later. IP: Logged |

Capricorn Sun houze IV
Scorpio Moon HOUSE II
Pisces Venus HOUSE VI
Cancer Mars - R house X1. I definitely rely on my practical sun, but not to keep my emotions reasonable. I let my emotions flow. When my emotions are getting out of control, my practical sun and Virgo rising will step in like, "maybe you're dehydrated? Drink more water". But other than that, I am quite transparent. 2. No it's not a challenge. I make a LOT of heart/gut decisions 3. Yes always! I also interpret my dreams and tarot & stuff, so I rely a lot on my intuition and imagination 4. I am drawn to people that elicit strong reactions out of me. I love being swept away. But I now i think it's better for me to pursue stability. 5. People have nooo idea how emotional I am because of Cool as a Cucumber Capricorn thing. IP: Logged |

I think I made a series of decisions when I was young, based around my need to protect myself, and these decisions put me where I am now: pretty much reclusive, only seeing people outside of my family on my own voluntary, non-binding terms. When I have made impulsive decisions based on an emotion, the emotion was usually one that drove me further into my shell, rather than catapulting me out to the world, or out of my own box. For the most part I am cerebral and only act on emotions that make logical sense to me, that will keep me and my reputation secure. 3) Have you ever trusted your gut feelings, against reason, and succeeded more than you expected to? Not that I can recall but I'm tempted to experiment... 4) Have you avoided people who elicit too strong of an emotional reaction from you, even if it was a positive reaction? I understand your answer to #5. It's the same for me. So, with the very sensitive Pisces moon, do you find that you are easily intimidated by people?
Such as fiery/aggressive people? But could be any type if your answer is yes. Edit: probably depends on your sun I guess. There's a cap/Pisces at work who seems that way but a Leo/Pisces I know who definitely isn't. LOL IP: Logged |

Re #5 I think sensitive people recognize that quality in others, and sometimes the most subtle gesture of recognition just hits the spot. Like needing space and the other person knows exactly how much space to give. It's speaking a language of cues. And come to think of it, the Virgo-Pisces axis can be particularly receptive at both ends. quote:

When I was younger, yes. When my sun progressed into Aquarius, that helped a lot. The thing is, sometimes other peoples' energy makes me physically ill. It doesn't intimidate me so much as harms me, but it's my fault for not strengthening my boundaries. And sometimes it's not that they are too fiery or aggressive...these people are surprisingly easy to calm down, if you work it right. It's other things that can get to me...and in some moods my emotional balance is so fragile, I can't deal with anything from anyone, not even friendliness. Need to fully decontaminate from life, in my bubble. IP: Logged |

I almost need to live in that state in some ways.
Though I think astrologers and The Secret Language of Birthdays says that I need to be more social. When I did the relationship with my mother on that site it actually said that she teaches me to be more social and I teach her to introspect and etc. We're the inverse of each other. Interesting! I haven't thought about it before, but that sounds good to me. I love that Secret Language book, even though it's warped my thinking too much, by being too true, too often. Almost annoyingly compelling. My moon is in The Week of the Loner. It shows a picture of a wolf or other dog howling at the moon. Very deep, LOL. But also true.... IP: Logged |
