Would you say that.. for whatever planet Chiron is aspecting (whether a conjunction/opposition/inconjunction/square etc) that trauma or healing becomes a prevalent theme with that planet/axis?

For example..
If Chiron is opposite your Mars, do you think that whenever you assert yourself in situations (house placement is crucial here of course) you are often thwarted by deep self-doubt internally? Or people rise up to critique your methods in unnecessarily harsh ways that linger in your memory for a long time? Or do you feel that "courting"/boundaries are something you have to work very hard at, but when you succeed, it's a major psychological triumph?

Or like...
If Chiron is conjunct your Venus, would you say that romantic rejection burns into your future experiences and you feel very hesitant for future interactions?

But also..

Do you come out of these situations like a champion, having slayed against these past instances of self-doubt and thus do you feel like a new person having phoenixed through Chiron's karmic lesson?

I would love to hear your experiences!

I have Chiron square Venus, conj Jupiter/MC/SN and opposite Uranus/IC/NN. I seem to be one of those that is forced to go through pain, all the time, so that I can become wise and try to help people later on. Unfortunately, I've grown pretty tired of helping people in need and I've moved closer to helping myself first and foremost instead. 5 years ago I would bend backwards for anyone needing help and it drained me emotionally, mentally and physically.

My Aries husband has actually taught me that it's OK to be selfish sometimes and just say NO!

Chiron oppose venus/saturm/NN/asc.

Hmm I'd say that love doesn't bring me pain, pursuing my goals doesn't, establishing myself doesn't, being myself doesn't.

It's not easy though. Set backs in personal goals, having to fight for freedom over my life, endure for love, etc...

There have been considerable difficulties, either people creating troubles, me shooting myself in the foot (lol this is rare though), or just general random misfortunes. This could also be attribute to saturn influence in my chart.

While those experiences were indeed painful, they didn't exactly leave enough damages to cripple me. Idk, in some ways I sort of accept that those things can happen sometimes, I try to deal to the best of my ability - it's like gambling, losses are inevitable and they don't stop me from wanting to roll the dice again and again.

A certain mix of anxiety, self-doubt and worry is always there. Mingled with excitement and a myriad of other feelings. I'd say that I "play" for the pleasure of playing, and because of the hope of winning. Not because I believe that I will always win.

Hehe, for me it's nothing grand like phoenix rising from the ashes. Just a simple desire to live as well as I possibly can.

Yasss!! I do go through this, this thread came right on time because i always felt like this. I have a moon, mars conjunct in leo/11th house. And people have tried to bring me down a lot of times that still has stayed in my mind for years now. I had a manager who loved to do this to me, but then try to be your friend..

Yes. And so much so, I plan to get my first tattoo (at 37 years old) of a droid-like Phoenix with a broken wing rising from smoke.

I have Chiron trine Sun, trine Mercury, opposing Venus, squaring Jupiter, trine Saturn, opposing Uranus, and conjunct MC.

Yes but like Chiron, it is a slow process.

I have Chiron in Cancer/6th house opposite Saturn Rx in Capricorn/12th house.

I feel like there's a lot of Chiron-centric issues that I've had to deal with in my life, so I will pick just one to discuss here.

My grandmother's Pluto in Cancer is conjunct my Chiron. With Gemini Moon and some nice Jupiter sextiles, I don't normally let the opinions of other people bother me. I'm pretty resilient like that. If I don't like I what I hear, I let it roll off my back. I certainly don't dwell on it for hours, days or even years.

But my grandmother is different. She is very, very critical of nearly every part of my life. In fact, if I want to protect a part of my life from her criticism, I just don't tell her about it. Unfortunately with Chiron in 6th, it was my body and my health that she went after when I was a child. I dealt with body image issues, teetered on the edge of developing an ED because of her opinions. I constantly turned sideways in the mirror to examine my stomach. I counted calories, exercised way too much. I even fear becoming romantically involved with anyone out of fear that they would view my body the same way she had. Her favorite saying is/was: "You would be perfect if you just lost ____ pounds." Can you imagine saying something like that to a Virgo child? I beat myself up for years over this.

For me, the only way that I could give myself a chance to properly heal is to just remove myself from the situation. I moved as far away as I possibly could and surprise! I felt immensely better. (The opportunity to do so did not present itself until T Chiron in Pisces and T Saturn in Scorpio were both trine my natal Chiron. T Chiron was also opposite my Virgo Sun at the time.) I am still hyperaware of my body at times, but it's not nearly as bad as it once was. I allow myself to gain weight, because that is what my body naturally does from time to time. I stopped worrying about every bit of food that goes in my mouth. If I eat healthy food, it's because I want to, not because my grandmother berated me to.

It also has a strange effect as a Virgo, too. I cringe when I see/hear super-critical Virgo Suns or people with Virgo placements. I don't relate well with them, because I know first hand how damaging it can be. (Weirdly enough, my grandmother is not a Virgo but a Pisces Sun/Cap Moon.) As painful as Chiron is/was, it's almost like it had an evolutionary effect with me.

Chiron in the 2nd square Sun/Mercury in the 5th: I've had major issues with self esteem, and had an eating disorder from when I was 11-17. My mom's Sun/Mercury is on my Chiron, and she often told me hurtful things and crushed my self esteem. I broke through all of that mostly by myself, so yes I feel like a 'warrior' in that sense.
