I have a cool, intellectual moon sign (Gemini) but it is tightly conjunct my Mars, squares my Mercury and my Venus. Top that off with the fact that my Moon/Mars conjunction is located in my 4th house and it's easy to see why I am more emotional than my moon sign would suggest.

Definitely the Neptune/ with sq Sun and trine ruler of opposite sign
Neptune is Higher octave of Venus and in aspect to Venus and Sun in Aries means Earth in Libra, and Venus is in natural Pisces house 12 as u said.
It is something you will get a handle on because of your sag moon, in time.

OP is Pluto doing anything significant in your chart also? It may be a combo of both working on you, this coming from someone whose sun moon midpoint squares neptune, whose sun trines it, moon sextiles it, venus squares it, and whose pluto conjuncts their moon and quintiles their pluto.

I don't think shes going to change. I think she has enough Neptune aspects that they trump her moon sign. sag moons can sometimes be very emotionally fickle, and a bit cold, and have problems with empathy if Neptune isn't strong in their charts. The few i have known have admitted that they generally have problems feeling anything, period and get themselves into or pull others into chaotic situations in an attempt to feel some kind of emotion, even if negative.

She'll probably always feel things more deeply than the average sag moon but i don't really view that as necessarily a bad thing, she just has to learn basic coping stuff whether its engaging in physical activity or finding some other outlet when shes upset.

Is it easy to be an emotional person? No but its a gift, the ones who aren't usually end up unhappy and alone in the end because the lack of ability to feel makes it difficult to feel real emotions for others or be conscious of how others might feel in response to our actions, which shows in their actions towards them and ultimately results in a general difficulty keeping people in their lives and maintaining relationships.

our experience of life tends to be richer when we can feel, and do so deeply, and also feel for others. It's like the difference between seeing the world in black and white or vivid color, and generally more sensitive people tend to be better artists, too so there is an upside there.
