What would you suggest to a Saturnian person who want to kick out his/her depression and become more relaxed, happier, optimistic etc.?

(This was advice given to me for Scorpio/Pluto issues but I believe it could work for Saturn as well)

Exposure
This could take a form from group therapy to talking to a friend about their life and their issues.

The idea is to get out of your head and your own problems and see the reality outside of your own.

And when you see what what other people worry about and how ridiculous and insignificant all their issues are (or on the other hand what terrible and unfortunate things they have to endure) you'll get a "reality check" and you'll feel a wave of clarity about all the things that are making you unhappy and whether or not it's worth all the emotional effort.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (for serious issues)
Now, if the Saturn crisis is unbearable this is a great easing method (but it costs money). This is a form of therapy that restructures your thought process and aims to unroot all the detrimental beliefs that a person has picked up (especially in early childhood) and are now hard to eliminate with rational thought.

Like I said this is great for Saturn (and Mercury) people because it's very structural and it engages your mind as well instead of just prodding into your emotions ad vulnerabilities which as we know is unpleasant for Saturnians.

Other little ways - distraction, focus on hobbies/work, social contact
