Do you think that if you get involved with someone whose NN is in a house that opposes yours, you hold each other back from progressing toward the goal of your NN? Or do you think that you would teach each other lessons from your previous life (SN) experience? Example: NN in Aries in 5th house oppose someone else's NN in Aries in 11th house. The method to getting to the goal is the same but in totally opposite areas of life.

I could see it working either way. I've never thought about how it works in synastry.
