My Chiron is in Gemini and the 5th House.

Ruler of the 5th Mercury is in the 8th and squaring Chiron.
Uranus opposite Chiron makes it a T-Square.

Does that make it worse?
What could it mean?

I read that this means "hurt and heal" children / your children and you'll feel better if you do something related to art.
I have Chiron in 5th house too and I do not like reading about this, because everywhere says "pain, pain and more pain" but I think it's healing after all.

My sister has Chiron in Gemini conjunct her Mars. And she told me once that has always felt herself "stupid".

I have always thought of Chiron as "Chronic". Meaning that the psychological wound never heals. But can be controlled through affirming rituals or focusing on the lessons that it yields.

Chiron has a demoralizing effect. A sense of "I am going to be found out as a fraud" on the person. Much like Saturn.

I don't know if all this is true for you. But I would imagine that if Chiron is connected to the 5th house, it could suggest that there is inability or a feeling of being "disabled" when expressing creativity romance, recreation or having children.

This is especially true if it aspects Venus/Sun/Mars.

Romantically, 5th house cusp in Gemini enjoys intelligent, witty, versatile lovers. The process of falling in love is pretty fast and exciting.

So with Chiron here, there is likely to be some impediments with regards to areas of life this house touches.

You could be too serious, too sensitive and prone to feel easily disappointed here. There is definitely something of an emotional wound that creeps in to remind you of not being at ease etc.

I have Chiron in Taurus in the 2nd house. So this one is a double dose.

I am a miser when it comes to money and really fear not being financially self -sustainable.

Having a concrete asset like a home etc goes a long way in easing my sense of insecurity when it comes to personal welfare.

A dream I have yet to achieve is owning my own home.
