Examples - A) Solar Arc Jupiter squaring with Natal Vertex applying at 0.49 degrees B) Solar Arc Moon opposite Natal MC applying at 2.5 degrees How long (time wise) before the aspects are exact/take place? TIA! IP: Logged |

I Have IC in Cap at 18.28 when solar arc Uranus rolled around I relocated countries Solar arc Uranus was at 17.39 cap so I say maybe 1 degree orb for it to be activated. Then again that's cutting it pretty close and my birth time may be off by a few close minutes. So I say 1 degree orb or EXACT. IP: Logged |

I met someone when my SA Venus was exact to the second conjunct my Sun. The timing was impeccable. IP: Logged |

I think that you should look at Solar Arcs that are close to exact with sensitive points.2013 was a tough year for me. Solar Arc Uranus was conjunct my Asc exact- I felt things suddenly change. And for the next two years- when it squared my Mid-heaven,I desperately wanted career change. Around the same time, transiting Uranus was also hitting the same angles. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Athene and Aries for the feed back. I've only recently begun looking into Solar Arcs and they're definitely on point from my marriage and son's birth Aries, I have SA Uranus on my AC now...I think the aspect is separating now, but yeah my life looks VERY different from a few years ago I was wondering how to look at the orbs (ex 2.34) like I know 2 means 2 years...but how do you figure out how long the minutes are? Are they broken down into months?? IP: Logged |

The first one approximately 8 months from now, though you may slowly start feeling this one. The second one you mjight start feeling in 2 years roundabout.

Thanks, Ceri. Can you tell me how you calculated that? Sorry lol, I just want to make sure I understand correctlyI understand the day for the year so example here: 2.53 degrees would be 2 years and 5/6 months? IP: Logged |

I try to not go into too much into specifics when it comes to the math of it all. Its more psychological for me.For instance. Even when I mentioned that Uranus Solar Arc on my Asc brought changes. It was changes that I had anticipated months before. The extent,level/depth of those changes. And how demanding life suddenly became- just threw me off the ball. But on the other hand.If you really want to narrow it down, perhaps someone else can shed light on your question? IP: Logged |

1 degree is 60 minutes.1 year is 12 months the solar arc is roughly 1 degree per year (depending on the motion of your progressd Sun) so in 12 months the planets move 60 minutes which means for one month we have to calculate 60:12= 5 the result is 5 minutes of arc per month IP: Logged |

I wanted to say that when Solar ARC Mars (its my oriental planet) conjuncted my ASC I suffered 2 accidents that I'm STILL trying to heal from..one of them I caused it to myself when I lost my cool/panic attack mode and whats funny is that natal Mars is in my 12th (house of self undoing so its pretty fitting)...I read the effects of a Solar Arc are passing effects (aren't long term) so who knows, I hope so though..I thought I'd meet someone of significance since Aries rules my DSC I met someone but it was a few minutes pass my ASC so idk if that counts....I hope someone comments on this..specially for those of you who's 7th house ruler crossed your ASC (solar arc planet) This planet crossing though definitely changed me in many ways...I hope Kannon sees this.

Thanks so much for breaking that down, Ceri! That makes a lot of sense IP: Logged |

Very interesting observations Julz. My oriental planet is Neptune and I believe it crossed several years ago I'm just now getting the hang of Solar Arcs and I've been going back to significant dates to study what was going on in my natal/solar arc charts Anyway, my boyfriend has Aries DC also, but his Mars is in 8h... Ceri, Julz - I was just looking back at my SA and transits for the day I told my mom I was pregnant. (I found out a few days before I told her)Solar Arc AC was square my Natal MC by 0.02 degrees and I heard to look at transits too to see what "triggers" the Arc and Transit Uranus was quincunx my Natal Pluto (ruler of my MC) also by 0.02 degrees... Interesting stuff! haha I guess I should look for Solar Arcs and Transits for 8 months later when my son was born IP: Logged |
