I have a late Gemini ASC, so my first house includes some of Cancer, even though it teeechnically rules my 2nd. I was wondering how Cancer would play a part in my first house (does it alter a typical Gem ASC at all - how?) esp. considering my chiron is there.

***Forgive me for what im about to say***

I can't believe your question(s) because you're a moderator. Aren't you supposed to know this stuff ms know it all and on top of that, you don't like hearing others opinions and you have a bad attitude. I wish this site had an ignore feature. I won't bother responding to this topic again either. Just had to get that off my chest.

Lol! You're forgiven Gracha 😊 You bring up a good point. I am a moderator, however I moderate Through The Looking Glass and Horary Charts, not Astrology 2.0. I second you about having an ignore feature, maybe try showing Randall this thread and asking him? Although I am quite knowledgeable (thank you by the way!) I'm only human which is why I'm glad I have a forum like Lindaland that makes it easy to ask whomever when or if I can't find something on Google myself.

Hm well I belive that would UM hm NO IDEA SORRY, just think about aries cancer fusion what that would entail in a person's chart, ignoring the houses entirely. so aries cancer fusion would make someone caring nurturing and emotionally connected, enjoy food, but have a strong sense of self & identity

idk thats all i can think, because i think 1st house is the house of self identity and such because aries is also about the self and self centeredness and so the first house is really just aries, but the southern hemisphere is a bit different because if any planets lie there they behaves as an earth-planet conjunction, a fusion of whichever planet's energy with earth.

Thanks Soren, that's a good starting place!

I would also like to hear a few opinions on this.
My AC is at 29' Gemini. All of my 1st house is in Cancer.

When reading forecasts I go for Cancer Ac as it fits my house placements.

When it comes to how I present or look to others, I have to say I'm a Gemini. Especially mentally.
I do carry a few traits of a Cancer.. Sensitivity is quite strong, and I do attract, also get along well with most Cancers, but that could also be due to the many placements in Pisces.

What are your Mercury and Moon aspects? Houses?

It's the opoosite for me, I def. look more Cancerian! Moon is in the 11th and trines Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and opposes Pluto.

Moon Sag in H6. Squares Saturn and Mars and widely conjucts Neptune. Trines Mercury in H9

Mercury rx Aries H9 widely conjucts Sun in Pisces

I wish I could be of better help, but the people I know who have similar Rising Sign/H1 stuff are all Earth/Water combos, so they blend reasonably well.

However, the two examples I can think of have late degree Pisces Rising, and they definitely look far more like Pisces than Aries (the eyes, specifically).

My cousin, however, is a Taurus Sun, and her H1 goes all the way from Pisces to Taurus.

She looks mostly like Taurus/Pisces, but nothing like Aries. She also speaks more like Taurus/Pisces.

Another friend of mine who has Pisces Asc at 29* is a Capricorn Sun Taurus Moon, and he definitely looks more Pisces/Taurus as well. His way of speaking is more Piscean as well, although he has Cap Mercury.

His H1 also stretches from Pisces to Taurus, however.

Another guy I know has Taurus Asc at 28*, and Gemini makes up most of his H1.
He's an Aquarius Sun with Taurus Moon, but I would say that he almost does look a bit Gemini at times, and Taurus at others!

I hope that's somewhat helpful, lol.

Thanks guys! That's all I wanted was a platform to brainstorm off of.

3ln3 - Okay so one of your main rulers is in Mercury's natural house and you resonate with looking Gemini. That makes sense since the one of the Moon's many subjects is the female body.

Violets - Thanks for the brainstorming topics! I'm interested to know what those signs look like to you though? When you said your friend looks like a Pisces I wondered if they have large, round eyes?

Yes, they both have large, round eyes, but also slightly almond, if that makes sense?

But then, one is a Taurus Sun, and the other a Taurus Moon, lol. I'll try to get a pic of just their eyes.

Maybe I'm not good at describing eye shape, lol.

Here is one pic (let me know when you see it, I will probably take it down).
