How much attention and affection do you need from a lover? Be honest! Give examples if possible.

Are you guys aware that sometimes you get ticked off because you aren't getting attention from someone that you want attention from?

Also, do you find yourself waiting for that person to come to you while you sit on your throne? Expecting "if they want me they should make the first move!"

Haha, not to sound condescending or anything! Just really curious

Tons.

Lots of affection, kisses, hugs, multiple times a day. And "I love yous" at least once, if not multiple times a day. Embarrassing, I know. But my husband needs the affection too, so I feel ok with it lol

Do I get ticked off if I'm not getting it? Yes. Big time.

But I don't need the other person to make the 1st move.

I need quite a bit of attention, but I need more reminders of love than anything else. For example my SO and I had an argument that he must text me at least twice in a day (we are very busy people).

Oh I am very aware how "ticked" I get when I don't get attention, but I usually get attention after that.

I think it goes both ways with me, I want him to come to me (but being the Gemini moon that he is) he usually doesn't so then my lunar regal lion comes out and I roar at him.

This makes me sound awful, but I was honest haha

Oh my god, yes! I'm a leo moon and all I want and need from my partner is his attention & affection, all I want is his eyes just looking at me in a crowded (or not crowded) room, but definetely we like to be looked at and treated as if we were a maesterpiece or something like that. And yes I always wait for them to make the first move. I'd rarely do it. I feel liked if they do it first, tho. Also we like the best, we are a bit picky.

Oh yesss! Loads and loads of love, hugs, kisses, holding hands, good morning hugs and kisses especially when im wearing just a tee shirt and making a cup of coffee..these morning hugs mean sooo much to me. I know. Silly me.
Show me the love. Dont hide it.
I cant have enough of hugs and kisses, playing with my hair or ear rings, fingers, its all so divine and oh so romantic. And yes I love getting flowers. Especially when out of nowhere my husband gives me red roses! Melts my heart. I also like to hear I'm hot and gorgeous. Also appreciate when I gift you something special. Especially when i make a grand gesture.Means a lot. A spontaneous hug snd kisses makes my head go round and round. And my husband gives me flowers on the date we met... it means a lot. Simple romantic things mean a lot to me. Whenever we cross the road my husband would wait and hold my hand and he would face the traffic. Keeps me away from the incoming vehicles. All this. And even when I'm wrong, he would make me laugh. Somehow. And he says as long as my wife smiles and laughs I'm happy, no ego in front of you. But he is an egoistic triple Aries. So that is super special to me.
N no. You dont have to make the first move. Always. If you are terribly shy, we will help you out. But I doubt if a leo moon lady will ask u out. A leo moon would never be rude even if we dont care for your advances. We are used to having our fans and entourage. A no from a leo moon wont make you feel bad. And dont feel bad about being affectionate. Because we are very good at reciprocating love and affection.
Few days back, I had an asthma attack. My husband carried me to the car. Eventhough I insisted I could walk. It was so cute. All the grannies sitting outside were watching us. Lol :-)

Thanks for all your replies!

What are some of the ways you guys feel better after a fight? Do you typically feel better when you are showered with affection? This is of course, after you talk things through with your SO and have come to a compromise or understanding.

Aww, I love all of this. You guys are making me smile. I have no problem with you Leo moons wanting attention and affection, just trying to understand your emotional needs a bit better!

My ex is a Leo moon he was a total narcissist , and never gave me any affection. I'm a moon in Pisces and I require affection. I also love
To give affection. He did not accept it either. Hence, he's an ex.

I immediately feel less mad and better when my SO pulls me in for a hug and just holds me. Cuddles are the best, second only to the person I'm fighting with admitting they are wrong (just kidding...sorta). I feel better when we have some type of physical connection after a fight, like cuddling or just being held, sex is also really good with nice cuddling

I mean considering that your moon signs were incompatible it's not a surprise you feel that way. Leo and Pisces moon synastry is NEVER good, I always advise against it. This is the basic leo moon/pisces moon compatibility description I give out when I'm asked by someone:

Leo moon's have a sunny and warm undertone to their emotions/moods/demeanor. While Pisces moon's have a dreamy and moody undertone. Leo's with pisces can become underlying narcissists. Leo moon's will not be able to bear with feeling unappreciated, feeling mediocre from special moon Pisces and the feeling of loneliness from not being able to relate to their partner, even though they desperately want to. To gain the Pisces's attention, lunar leos will exaggerate feelings and become melodramatic to get lunar Pisces's attention.

Since Leo's are leaders and very aggressive, they can hurt the passive and gently Pisces without even meaning to. Pisces will also try to self-sacrifice and give something up to make the Leo moon partner happy. Because of such an intense and unbalanced power dynamic, Leo moon can seem dominating and Pisces cow-tow's to avoid the Leo's dramatics/rage. Pisces moon's in this type of relationship can often feel like they are being used.

I want to hear how sorry my significant other is, several times, with meaning. And even if Im still sulking, I want to be cajoled out of it with affection. Or by an act of trying to gain forgiveness. For example, "Let me make it up to you. Lets go to your favorite restaurant"

If I really truly want space, there is something deeply broken and the relationship may not recover.

WOW! It's like you lived with us. He would constantly fly into a rage for reasons that were incomprehensible to me. Such as , a dish left in the sink. Any time he did something that he perceived as " nice" he wanted me to acknowledge it forever. Yet , he never acknowledged having a hot meal on the table every single night. And I never asked for it. To be honest- I was always happy around him, upbeat. He was the one always in a grumpy mood. Come to think of it - we just couldn't relate emotionally. To be honest , I found him to be quite cold , only showing flicker of emotions here and there. Wow. Wish I knew more about astrology back then would have saved me some heartbreak and feelings of low self worth

I have a Libra moon and my SO is a Leo moon. How compatible are those? I think it is compatible?

The only thing that's throwing me off a bit is that he's also a Scorpio...combined with a Leo moon...demanding to the max? haha!

How would some of your sun signs play into the way your emotional (moon) needs?

This is me & my hubby! (Reversed) And I'm a Pisces with a Leo moon, so very similar to your Scorp/Leo. Personally, I think they are super compatible. We've been together 8 yrs, still going strong. The leo/libra nature is very playful and romantic.

The only real downside to a Libra / Leo moon (for me) is the libra is not as loyal as I would like them to be. Not speaking in terms of fidelity because my husband has always been faithful. But the Leo moon side of me wants my closest loved ones to always take my side, in any situation out of love and loyalty. The Libra moon naturally sees both sides of the situation and can reason with both. It's annoying. They need to understand its about principle for the Leo lol.

Other than that though, great combination.

Also wanted to say if you have a water or earth rising or sun sign, you may be able to relate to your SO's sun sign better than you would without it. The majority of my chart is Fire/Water, so I'm able to respond better to those aspects of my husband's chart. His rising is Cancer, which really helps him relate to my Pisces sun.

Haha! Oh man, you really nailed it.

I'm a Libra Sun/Moon/Mars with a Scorp Stellium with merc/venus/pluto/ASC.

He's a late Aqua ASC, Leo moon, Scorp Sun/Saturn conjunct.

Intellectual/mental compatibility and fulfillment? Completely 150% there.

You are so right about us Libras being able to bounce back and worth weighing in on every point/side. I remember my SO saying "Well which is it?? I've noticed you like to bounce back and forth alot, so is it A or is it B?"

Now that you're able to put it in fuller picture of Principle for Leo moons I definitely see it now. I'm not the typical undecisive libra though, I can decide when put on the spot. Just that I like to see every different angle first and give every side a fair chance....

Now that I re-read this, I'm getting a bit annoyed at myself too. LOL

Haha! I didn't mean that it's annoying in general. Fairness is actually a great thing about Libras. There's no one better to judge or talk things through with because they can see both sides. It's just annoying to us Leo moons who crave the loyalty whether we are right or wrong lol

Yes, Dreamcatcher I wish I would have known too. It would have saved me quite a bit of heartbreak myself. I will always love my Pisces ex. He was a Pisces through and through, including a giant Pisces stellium. He didn't have a Pisces moon though

Leo moons aren't usually abusive though, his chart might be very interesting. I would check the abuse asteroid Nessus between you, I have a feeling his Nessus is either on your moon or venus.

You know, I vaguely remember someone looking at our chart during our bad times and pointing out a lot of heavy karma and abuse...makes sense. It probably was.

DreamCatcher, thank you for sharing your experience. No one deserves abuse, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a disgusting piece of trash. As a fellow abuse survivor I extend my support to you!

For the record, my pisces stellium ex had a Capricorn moon. He was emotionally abusive and cheated on me. Not something typical of a Pisces, so don't believe sign stereotypes. Aspects, and the whole chart matter most.
