Topic: Misrepresented by squares to the Midheaven

i have squares to my Midheaven and see many interpretations insinuating that I actively do things to cause issues, but in reality I see that these squares atre how I'm seen despite not acting in that way AT ALL.Does this resonate with anyone else who has squares to the Midheaven? I feel like MC is an appearance, like AC, that doesn't necessarily describe the truth of who you are... Yes, you and your life might be affected in the ways described, but not through fault of your being. ------------------

i have many squares to my MC..and i have things happen to me...my natal is full with oppositions- Pluto opp Sun/Mars/Venus and pluto sq MC, so sometimes i feel i just bring on that bad energy and circumstances to myself.
just thinking about it, there were so many situations work wise, that most of my coworkers have not faced, that i have...
we are oppositional, and have that in us, to attract these type of responses in people..

I have Mercury square MC and I would say it has affected the way people saw me in life. To me, the MC/IC (and nodes) reveal what your truth is, and who your truest self is. So anything that squares it may make you feel conflicted with how others experience your personal self. You may feel like something is wrong,but others may misinterpret it IP: Logged |

I have Mercury conjunct Midheaven which is supposed to be pretty good but Pluto squares both and I always feel this awkward, underlying current of intensity when I speak to the general public. Most of the time people don't know how to respond or I tend to finish their sentences for them...I get a lot of unwanted stares and such but never go looking for it. In cases like that I'm usually hiding or trying to blend in while in public, which is probably hard with an Aqua MC. Unless I like who it's coming from, feeling uncomfortable or naked is usually what happens I don't think I'm personally at fault for these things. Early life events plague my psyche and bring these situations to me because I haven't cleared the issues yet. Unconsciously probing people to get info from them when I should probably be getting that done to me in therapy lol. Walah I've figured it out!

I don't have squares to my midheaven (in fact almost all the aspects are positive), but it's conjunct LILITH and Uranus. I have the same problem, I get interpreted in the most negative, sinister way possible at all times.
Honestly it used to bother me, now not so much because I'm not emotionally invested anymore in what people think of me. IP: Logged |

I also have pluto square mc!
pluto square mc is probably why I don't care about getting along with people and can challenge authority without flinching.
However I do have plenty of positive aspects to MC like venus so idk
And I have mars sextile MC so men (especially older) tend to love me (in a non creepy way) quote:

it seems like people view you as challenging them even wheny you do nothing. They seem to feel threatened by an energy that exists, but not by actions done.The fact that it happens in life is not the problem- we all have our challenges... When I see astrologers interpret from the non-natives perspective, putting the blame on actions taken by the native... That's where the real problem lies. Yes, the energy threatens people, but the native can be passive in the situation and still suffer the effects of this energy they are born with, without an ability to truly have control over.
