Topic: Does my chart make me extremely emotional by nature?

I am just new at this, so sorry if I say things wrong or miss things! I am just starting to learn about me and my chart and I am most interested in my emotions and emotions responses -because this has always been my problematic area.I am fine with work, friends and communcation but I find I can be over emotional in matters of the heart! I can see i have Sun in Scorpio, Venus in Scorpio, Moon in Pisces and also that my moon is in the 7th house. Does this create a perfect storm of a very emotionally intense person? A lot of the things I have read about moon in 7th house ring very true for me, and the same for my Pisces moon and I have glaring Scorpio traits throughout my personality. There are some things I don't like about myself though! If you find things in your chart which you feel make life challenging or draw you to make mistakes over and over - can they be battled? I have included my chart below for reference. Would love to hear from anyone who shares my moon placement too!

I do not share your moon placement, but we share moon aspects. I see you have Moon Square Neptune, I have it as well, it's one of the many emotional aspects a person has in their chart. Usually my hard aspects to the moon would cause for a person being emotional. I try not to be emotional, but sometimes I can't help it. IP: Logged |

I have no doubt that things in your chart can be battled. I've done it in my own chart. Well, they're battles that are never won per say but you can get and maintain the upper hand. I would call you emotional by nature. That's the realm that you operate in. Extremely emotional? Maybe sometimes but that doesn't have to mean crazy or unstable. You're probably an emotional person (I see it in your eyes) but there's nothing wrong with that.  IP: Logged |

Mmmm...not so much that, but I do fall in love very hard! Also anaylyse everything. Overthink. Dump people for not emotional or dramatic enough! None of that good!

(I don't mean that in a bad way) We're similar in those ways, so I know what you mean.
EXCEPT that I've dumped for being too emotional. At least if it's fairly early on. It depends on the vibe I get I suppose. IP: Logged |

Yeah, the sign placements alone present a lot of emotional intensity for you to deal with. And moon in the 7th indicates, among other things that your feelings are greatly influenced by the people you're with, i.e. those you have meaningful relationships/connections with. A powerful connection can be all-consuming and dominate your moods and affect emotional well-being. i.e., this ties back what you observed about yourself - you're collected and in control when it comes to work, but vulnerable when it comes to relationships. Pisces moon! I'm a Pisces moon as well. We are sensitive folks and very intuitive. We absorb people's energies around us. I seriously cannot watch someone crying or else I start crying. Plus the fact that you're a Scorpio sun, I'd say you have pretty strong emotions With your Pisces moon trine the intensity of your Scorpio sun, I'd say it heightens the awareness of your emotions. Also, are you attracted to emotional/sensitive partners? I see that your moon is conjunct your descendant in Pisces. IP: Logged |

THIS!! Exactly this is my main problem. It's a big flaw to have in life, because sometimes you allow the moods and behavior of others to cause you a lot of pain - when sometimes it has absolutely zero to do with you. This is not something primarily that occurs for me romantically. Anyone close to me who I love can really affect my moods. I would love to learnt to control that part of my nature!

Yes, this is all very true of me. I always thought I was attrcted to underdogs, or to people who have felt a little pain - and this can be a good thing (brings richness of spirit) but can also be a very bad thing because it can attract you to people who are actually quite unhealthy in themselves. I have a terrible urge to heal wounded birds - which is a thankless and pointless cause a lot of the time too. What sort of person do you think mixes well with someone so emotional? Someone LESS emotional to balance you, or someone similar to make you feel understood?

As a further comment to the question I just askedm my friends come in two categories.One set are the ones like me. Deeply intuitive and connected to me almost spiritually. These ones really help me when I feel alone or lost or ovewhelmed.
One set are the opposite of me. Very unemotional and practical and they are fantastic for remembering how to be lighthearted and not think or worry too much.
I enjoy time with both!

'Course you will. But that sensitivity is to be treasured too, IMO. Not everyone has that.

Similar, but more grounded I suppose. Less emotion may work short-term, but in the long run, they'll find it difficult to see where you're coming from. Some water + a good dash of earth will be able to reciprocate your sensitivity but will keep you from getting carried away and be your rock in times of emotional turmoil. IP: Logged |
