I read somewhere that in a natal chart the nodes as part of the cross does not count as a true Grand Cross, and that it only counts with actual planets. Does everyone out here agree? Or do you count the node opposition in a grand cross?

That's a hard one. No they don't count in the cross BUT they're still significant as they show direction. SN is past Karma that needs clearing up while the NN shows the direction you want to travel so that you may evolve.

I have this with my Sun and Moon. I count the NN as part of a T-square, although I haven't given much thought to my SN in that equation.

But yes, I count it, absolutely.

I'm having this happen in my chart right now.

Nodes 26,27 Sag/Gem
P'Nodes 25

tNodes are now 25 to 24 Virgo Pisces

tNode at 24+ Virgo is on my Moon Virgo H(9)

My Moon 24+ Virgo squares my Nodes

Not sure how to interpret that?...
