An 8H VENUS.PLUTO's placement does affect the native, but not on such a personal level that would approximate a Scorpio VENUS. VENUS conj PLUTO drags the less desirable elements of PLUTO out, making for a very clingy VENUS, colored by the sign the two share. A Sagittarius VENUS-PLUTO would have the unpredictable and impersonal nature of a typical Sag VENUS, but one who is also fiercely jealous. That creates a double-standard of demanding loyalty while still keep one's own options free. A Scorpio VENUS hates double-standards. Meanwhile, the 8H creates a solid foundation for VENUS that permeates the native on a deeper and more basic level. VENUS is more free to act how she would in her normal element, while keeping the the more keen and perceptive parts of the Scorpio energy that naturally saturates the 8H. An 8H VENUS will sacrifice in the same way a Scorpio VENUS would. IP: Logged |

I agree. My sun, moon, and mercury are in my 8th house. And it's all very Scorpio like IP: Logged |

Everytime I've read about Scorpio venus it's always fit too well with my V8! Venus literally lives and breathes in the home of Scorpio and Pluto.IP: Logged |

excuse me? How does a 7th house pluto not affect the native? 7th house is how we relate to people, that's as personal as it gets.
I have this placement and I am 10x more intense then a scorpio venus unfortunately yes I agree with the part that venus in 8th is like scorpio venus. however, pluto in 7th is stronger then both the scary thing about pluto in7th is we don't even seem intense, obsessive, jealous and controlling but it always takes us and other people around us by surprise. I've known and dated a handful of venus in scorpio and have never felt like they were too intense or even intense for me and I have no 8th house placements quote: Originally posted by Blind writer: An 8H VENUS.PLUTO's placement does affect the native, but not on such a personal level that would approximate a Scorpio VENUS. Right on. BlindWriter, excellent description! Pluto in the 5th : Pluto in the *party* house would bring Plutonic attributes not so much to love as to romance/creativity and all around fun, IMO. So what does that translate to -- intense pursuit of fun & games? A tad oxymoronic. Or maybe this is the placement of sex addicts #ThinkingOutLoud IP: Logged |

I have this placement and I am 10x more intense then a scorpio venus Maybe you are Lundan, but for different reasons... Last night chart you posted shows 26li48 on 7th and in Placidus house system the 8th hse cusp is 19 minutes of SAG and Pluto 20 minutes of SAG, AND SCORPIO is intercepted. So the planet that rules the intercepted sign AREA is on the cusp of it natural house. As much as you can find and read about intercepted signs , but unique with Pluto at 8th hse cusp only your decisions define it and you. Don't let people walk on you. Don't let the legacies of others determine your path.

Venus in the 8th, but no matter Pluto is still in the chart regardless of a lack of obvious aspect, still creates 2 major midpoints with venus as well as two golden mean aspects of power. ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

[/B][/QUOTE]I'm gonna have to agree based on my husbands Virgo Pluto 7H but he also has Venus on Asc, opp. Pluto. He is intense, demanding and......very "Scorpio". Kinda too much even for me having Pluto sq Sun, Moon and Mercury :-/ My mom is a Scorpio Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon and she is way less intense. And just to add for the sake of the other Pluto 7H thread...he likes to create drama. It's a neverending uo/down battle. Lotta emotions. Lotta projecting. My Pluto is stronger than his though LOL IP: Logged |

pluto in 7th if it's opposite ascendant (close orbs) and if it aspects other parts of the chart too. Pluto opposite ascendant in general is a better bet than pluto in 7th. A pluto in 6th that is right on Dsc is gonna be intense. venus in 8th also take on the characteristics of the sign in the 8th, which might not be watery like scorpio. Andy Grammer's song seems venus-pluto to me. (that I'm good song). Sometimes you cannot linearly extract planetary influences. House and the whole chart are so important. In terms of relationships, pluto in 7th, venus in 8th, ViS all seek the same thing. Pluto in 7th has the black hole, "sexy" effects like ViS (arguably even more so). But depending on what kinds of venus the Pluto in 7th native has, their relationships take on a different tone and flavor. Venus-conjunct-pluto or aspecting pluto badly can indicate violence towards women too. IP: Logged |
