From your experiences with sun square moon people, are they more like their sun sign or more like their moon sign?

I have this aspect so I'm very curious!

Hmmmm. I am actually most like my Asc. over either of them.

However, I speak bluntly and react (emotions) more like my like my Moon (in Sag).

My Sun (Virgo) traits seem to be internalized in perfectionism for myself and my gastrointestinal issues.

I act more like my sun, but that is because my sun has overall dominance.

I think the sun/moon midpoint is the most telling.

Geeky, I have Virgo sun / Sagittarius moon as well. Scorpio rising! What's your ascendant?

I feel like I can laugh louder than anyone in a crowded room, which brings attention to me, and after a few minutes start to feel self-conscious, and want to hide. Lol So basically, I really do have instinctive Sag moon reactions, but once the dust settles, by Virgo (self-conscious/quiet) sun takes the reins.

Good point. I have my sun / moon midpoint in Libra, conjunct Venus, and have had an artistic / beauty-seeking attitude all my life. Drawing / music / seeking nice looking landscapes...

A mix of both.

Emotionally, I am a Gemini (my moon). I'm generally calm/chill unless I let my nerves get the best of me. But I'm also a typical Virgo - a workaholic, perfectionist, prone to worrying, being overly critical, having high standards, etc. It's hard for me to tell what is what, since they're both ruled by Mercury.

My mom is a Cap Sun and Aries Moon. She was very Aries-like when she was younger, around the time that she met my dad (an Aries Sun). I think her Cap Sun shows in how responsible, dedicated and hardworking she is. I see both in her, so I'm not sure that one really overpowers the other.

My brother also has this aspect. He is an Aquarius Sun, Scorpio Moon. I definitely see his Scorpio Moon more - he even looks like a Scorpio (dark eyes, thick eyebrows, that look that all Scorpios seem to have) even though he has Sag ASC. I see his Aquarius occasionally - mostly when he buys a piece of clothing that doesn't fit with the rest of his wardrobe, or when he sits down and draws out building plans for something no one has ever heard of before. He also always wants to "be friends with everybody", even his exes, which I think is an Aquarian trait.

All the ones that I know are extremely sensitive and subjective.

I think the hard aspect between Sun/Moon compounds the emotions and makes them all important.

Would you say that with this square, if Uranus is conjuct the Moon, the emotions would be harder to control?

Leo rising, which overrides my wanting to hide or be modest (or have some sense of secrecy/privacy which I think might be the Scorpio in you).

But I eventually get by myself in a quiet moment (full analysis mode) and think "Wow did I really say that?" or "Wow, did I really do that?"

I threw a big fit last week over something trivial and embarrassed myself. I rarely get embarrassed so this was a doozy lol.

Frustration seems to be a pretty good way to sum up this aspect, as if both ways, whether it's a big life decision or simply what to eat for dinner can one second seem satisfying, and the next second, fail to provide any fulfillment.

I feel more like my Moon, but I have an opposition, would that be the same situation?
