The love I felt for him was very neptunian and unconditional, and every time I found out something bad about him I somehow found a way to justify it to myself and keep loving him. And then one day it was like the rose tinted glasses suddenly got torn off and I could finally see him clearly for what he was. I definitely learned some lessons but it was a horrible shock and left me with trust issues, not only towards other people but also towards myself (I felt like my heart betrayed me by letting me fall for such a bad person).

With Neptune staying in my 7th for such a long time, and with challenging natal venus aspects/placements, is there any chance of a happy, honest relationship anytime within the next 10 years? Could Neptune manifest itself in a more positive way? I do volunteer work from time to time, and my career is in the film/music industry…is it possible that Neptune thru the 7th means I may meet someone there? (since Neptune rules film, arts etc).

Per my SR chart for 2015, I have Neptune in the 7th house. For the past several weeks, I have been involved in a long distance relationship with someone overseas. Needless to say, it has been a whirlwind. We have not met in person yet, but we have plans to sometime in the next few weeks. There is a tiny speck of me that feels like he's holding something back, but I'm chalking it up as him not feeling comfortable talking about the passing of his former wife. We get along great, and we both have the same goals in life and such. I am so scared of being catfished or duped because I know it will crush me....SIGH.....but he's bent on meeting and getting it off the ground, so I am taking it as a nod that all will be well?

It's a wait and see, I suppose.

I will also have this transit soon but I am not sure whether it will be active all time or only when Neptune makes a stressful transits to natal planets while being in the 7th house. When Neptune was transiting my 6th house, my career was going pretty well until Neptune began squaring my MC (I was unemployed) and Mars (I experienced power struggles with my boss). However, I got a job offer when it was trine my Jupiter (but I had other good transits as well at that time).
