soo...

in my equal house system i have jupiter in the 7th, and with placidus i have it in my 6th house.

i've always thought that i resonated with it being in my 6th house because when i started learning about astrology, i was really living a monotonous life. same thing every day and i was successful so i put it down to that. but thinking back, i didn't have a choice to have a more exciting life or for any spontaneity. there was no choice but routine.

now that i'm older, with more freedom to explore life i've come to learn that i quite like people. i love learning about them, i love getting to know a wide range of them.

learning about astrology, i remember another member, i believe kannon mcafee, mentioned that in the chaos of delivery birth times can be a bit cocked up. well.. for me to have jupiter in the 7th in placidus i would have to be born 20 minutes earlier. quite a small window and imo quite reasonable

and thinking back, i never realised that most of my more zany ideas or paths taken that would result in more success than the ideas from the more routine time in my life, came from people.

most of the paths and turns i've made in my life has been triggered by a person. the right person would always pop up in my life. my ass has been saved by someone popping up last minute so many times its ridiculous

my question is - i have saturn in the 11th house. so making friends is easy, deeper friendships i've found is hard

if i do have jupiter in the 7th.. how would saturn in the 11th house **** it up? could my saturn in the 11th be what was dampening my .. i don't want to say popularity but sure, in my youth? the reason why i was bullied?

and with jupiter on my 7th it's exactly conjunct my descendent.. but i'm not that lucky in love.. don't really get hit on, approached or anything. so that always comes up in the descriptions and i think thats what put me off.. it always mentioned successful romantic life.. and i would be like 'wut? naw thats not me'

also with being born 20 minutes earlier would put my mars in the 5th house rather than 4th... so so so much more sense omg. to the tee.

so i'm wondering i can get some opinions, and some experiences from people with jupiter on the 7th and on the 6th so see if i'm making this all up in my head. i can be biased

sorry for the ramble (go you if you read the entire thing!) and thank you for your help!

It's common for people to question their ASC. For good reason, too.

I have Jupiter in Leo in my 6th house. There's different interpretations of this placement, but they're all pretty accurate for me. I have lots of pets and I always have. I take care of them and treat them just like I would my children. I'm a generally happy, optimistic, helpful person. Of the jobs that I've had, I've always had this attitude at work, which usually goes over well. My Moon & Mars in Gemini sextile my Leo, so my default mood/position is that the glass is always half-full. I've read that Jupiter in 6th can sometimes give "luck" with finding/keeping jobs but I haven't experienced this. I mostly just work my butt off and land on a job that fits my experience/training. (Although that's not happening at the moment, sadly enough.)

I love dramatic music, movies, theatre, etc. I really, really love music and art and wish I could turn it into a way to make a living.

I've also read that Jupiter in the 6th can give "luck" with good health, but that's not the case with me, either. I've been dealing with chronic illnesses since I was a teenager, but that probably has more to do with Chiron sitting on my 5th/6th house cusp.

ETA:

Saturn in the 11th could do that, I think. I have Saturn in Capricorn/11th house. I was a bit of a loner when I was a younger, and I did get bullied a lot. A lot of my best friends are much older than me, because we have a lot more in common than I do with anybody my age. I'm generally serious and mature in social groups, which makes it difficult to be apart of them.

Birth times issues are a nightmare!!!

The best way to minimize this is not to make it an "overnight" project.

Rather sit with an assumed Asc for a couple of months and watch important transits.

Why not use the whole house system to validate the Asc?

In my case, I've found Pluto/Neptune work best. Because they are so darn slow and thorough, you actually only get to assess(in retrospect), what happened to you all those years back-with a detached mind.

If all else fails, consult an astrologer who is an expert in this field.

But I dare say that even with the latter, unless you feel "satisfied" you won't even trust the astrologer in question(no matter how much of an "expert" she says she may be)

I always feel that the chart should "sing". But not a tune that you barely recognize.

Where is your Pluto/Neptune and what are the two suspected Ascendants in question?
