It lasts from January 5th to 25th.At the same time you have:
Mars entering Scorpio on January 4th, lasting for several months
Lilith square Pluto

Well as far as mercury rx and your lease. I wouldn't worry. You already signed it.
I bought my phone 7 days before the last mercury rx and it's been totally problem free. No side issues either with billing and etc either. I bought a car during a mercury rx and it's been fine also.
In my personal experience it's all the technology at my employment that goes to sh*t. It already has to be honest. My point is, while I know it's real and stuff ALWAYS gets crazy, I don't think it's an automatic for doom and gloom. IP: Logged |

Yeah sometimes this retrograde scares me because of the technology going haywire and accidents happening but somehow it benefits every time it's RX because having a rising Mercury sign, my intellect and creativity rises at its peak.
And.. My Mercury is in 29° Taurus. Very close to Gemini, so maybe that could be it too.I always feel the effects of merc Rx when in shadow phase. When it intensifies, those are the days when my thoughts get really restless and make me stay awake on nights. IP: Logged |

OMG.I forgot about this. Yes, things already wonky here too! Example 1 - Outlook at work was updated. Spell check stopped working and I caught my coworkers sending out messages filled with typos. Example 2 - Trying to set up internet service (OMG... so much drama). So I have security freeze on my credit reports (which I forgot about), so they asked me to lift the freeze so they could run credit check to get new internet service installed. I then go to TransUnion to try to get it lifted, and I forgot my pin. So I had to call the 800# to get a new pin. After going through all of my identity verification over the phone, their system went down, so I got no pin. I called back my ISP and talked to one guy who said I could just give a deposit instead if I didn't want to fuss with dealing with removing my security freeze. However, my work break was over and I didn't know which of my bank accounts had the $ for the deposit, so I said I would call back. Well, I call back and naturally, got someone else. After keeping me on hold for 15 minutes, she told me that I would need to get my security freeze lifted and that she couldn't help me. I told her that I had just spoken to someone earlier who said I could just pay a deposit and she said I couldn't. I pointed out that the website gives the option to pay a deposit and decline a credit check in some states (including mine), and she still wouldn't help me. But I got the last laugh, eventually. I went to the ISP website and set up a new work order (after trying for another 15 minutes because their website kept going down). My new work order checked the option that asked to decline a credit check and pay a deposit instead. Stupid people trying to tell me "no" when I know there are other ways... pssshhhh. Believe me, if I had any other option for an ISP, I would have gone with ANYONE else today but my address only has one provider option. :/ ------------------

Yeah, this is SUPER annoying.It's a week away, and we've been noticing stuff also. Heater broke, sink won't drain, more clumsy than I normally am. We're in the process of doing a lot of stuff that would be a lot better off without Mercury in there screwing everything up.  Mercury Rx and Saturn transits are like Peeves the Poltergeist from Harry Potter. They're irritating, troublesome, and no one likes them!  IP: Logged |

Yeah, once Mercury begins to move slower than the Sun things can and often do get screwy in communications.And starting in AQ we are likely to see some serious issues with travel as well.Maybe even a tech glitch
again the stock markets. That being said Mercury spends as much time
retrograde each year as humans do sleeping, So sad we can't just do it at the same time. ------------------
