I have this aspect to the exact degree, but some of the descriptions of this aspect do not apply to me. I am not lucky in love, but I'm sometimes lucky with money. Socially I do like to get around and living the good life is ideal for me. My Venus is trine Jupiter exact from the 8th house to the 12th.. What does this mean?  IP: Logged |

It does not necessarily mean lucky in love. I have the conjunction, and boy is that not true!  Venus-Jupiter does denote luck, in some ways, yes. But look at the whole meaning. Here's my attempt at a summary (applies in varying degrees of accuracy to the conjunction, trine and sextile) -- Conceptually, Jupiter is the planet of expansion and Venus is the planet of beauty, aesthetics, creativity. Venus-Jupiter contacts expand one's Venusian appetites. If you are the creative type, you become prolifically so, under Jupiter's benevolent hand. Jupiter also sprinkles optimism. You're likely to be generous with your feelings and resources. There's a warmth that people perceive as soon as they meet you. Helps towards being liked, socially speaking. (At the very least, mitigates other anti-social aspects if there are any). People find you easy-going and that vibe relaxes them, so they are encouraged to respond with the same warmth you project. I'd like to add that, to gain a better understanding, you should read several in-depth explanations about the aspect, and see it within the context of your chart. Progressions and transits too bring their own effects.  IP: Logged |

I guess it does help a little with my anti-social placements/aspects, I really only have two:Capricorn Ascendant

Well personally, I feel like this aspect is a blessing. Sometimes I can be very lucky, especially in my finances. There has been plenty of times where I've almost gone completely broke, but right before I can, money just seems to come out of now where. With this aspect, I also feel like a social butterfly, I love to go out to parties or go out to eat every other weekend. IP: Logged |
